Whump Drabble ❧ 46

Tw: Stalking.

- - -

Caretaker is sitting at Whumpee’s side, who is having yet another breakdown, though it’s been months away from Whumper and they had even changed bits of their identity and name to help protect them.

A part of Whump still felt the unsettling watchful eyes of Whumper on them, watching their every move, judging them silently from the shadows.

But caretaker was sure and positive that Whumper would never be able to find them where they had relocated Whumpee too.

That’s what caretaker thought as they firmly held Whumpee’s trembling hand that was poking out from the blankets.

Unbeknownst to them, Whumper stood not far away, peering in from the small slit in the curtains, watching, waiting for the perfect moment to reclaim their prize back.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Whumpee jumped at the sound of Caretaker’s voice. They practically spun around and pressed themselves up against the front door, closing it again as they did so. “Uhm… I just- I wanted to go out for lunch with a friend… I haven’t seen them for a while and I-”

“I am the only friend you need, Whumpee.” Caretaker stepped forward and gently ran their fingers through Whumpee’s hair, pulling them close to their chest. Whumpee felt like they were suffocating, though they didn’t dare pull away. “Am I not good enough for you? Is that why you want to leave?”

“Y-you are good enough! I was only gonna be gone for an hour or two…”

Caretaker didn’t care. “Put the bag down,” they murmured, scratching the back of Whumpee’s head. “I can’t have you leaving this house, my dear. Someone might hurt you, and I can’t have that happening. How ‘bout we go watch a movie instead?”

Whumpee swallowed. They really wanted to see their friend. It had been over a year since Caretaker had let them have any sort of freedom.

However, after a moment, they slowly dropped their bag onto the wooden floor and sniffled, trembling hands reaching into their back pocket for their phone.

“I’ll tell my friend I won’t be coming…”

“Good.” As Caretaker pulled away, they snatched Whumpee’s outdated phone from them and slipped it into their own pocket. “I’ll be deleting every conversation and contact that isn’t to me. You can have it back when I’m done.”

Whumpee simply nodded, too embarrassed and upset to argue.

“What’s this?”

Whumpee could feel the heat rising to their cheeks as they held out their childhood stuffed animal towards Caretaker. Their shoulders lifted slightly in a shrug and they instinctively glanced down, not wanting to make any eye contact.

“Uhm… well, you told me you were having trouble sleeping, so I thought you might like to have her to cuddle with at night. She always makes me feel better, and I want you to feel better, too.” Their voice barely reached above a whisper, and it trembled with anxiety, yet it started to ease as soon as they noticed the giddy smile now on Caretaker’s face.

“You’re so cute,” they hummed, and as they gently took Whumpee’s favourite stuffed animal, they brought it into a hug to emphasise how grateful they were. “Thank you, my dear. Truly.”

Whumpee simply grinned right back at them, the blush on their cheeks never fading.

Warning: Captivity.

Whumpee sniffled, pressing their face into Caretaker’s shoulder as Whumper’s footsteps started to get louder. “They’re not gonna keep their promise,” they whispered shakily, squeezing their eyes shut with a muffled whimper. “We’re not getting out of here, are we?”

The lump in Caretaker’s throat thickened. “I- I don’t know,” they admitted, their voice cracking as they held Whumpee tighter with a tender kiss to their forehead. “I don’t know.”

Sheltered whumpees who’ve never experienced anything outside of captivity, getting to do all sorts of new things with their caretaker.

Warning: Hospital settings.

“Please don’t,” Whumpee whimpered, clinging to Caretaker even tighter when they tried to let go. “Please don’t leave me. I- I don’t- please.”

Caretaker gently trailed their fingers through Whumpee’s hair, planting a soft kiss to their forehead. “I’m not leaving you, Whumpee. I just need to step out of the way so the nurses can help yo-”

No!”

Warning: Non-consensual (non-sexual) touching.

“Get the fuck off me!”

Caretaker’s arms tightened around Whumpee’s waist and chest, preventing them from going anywhere as they kicked and sobbed. “I’m not letting go of you until you calm down.”

Warning: Muzzled, conditioning.

“Whumpee, please,” Caretaker begged, watching as Whumpee pushed themselves further back into their little cage, muzzle tight over their mouth. “It’s okay, I’m not here to hurt you. I just want to take your muzzle off.”

Whumpee whimpered, their entire body trembling as they shied away from Caretaker’s gentle touch. “I need it. ’m dangerous.”

This was not their Whumpee speaking. This was years of Whumper’s conditioning, and it shattered Caretaker that they truly believed they were dangerous.

Warning: Self harm.

“Whumpee, please stop hurting yourself.”

Whumpee whimpered, trembling fingers yanking at their own hair as they rocked back and forth in their cell. In the small cell next to them, Caretaker sat leaning against the bars, reaching in as far as they could to comfort them with their touch.

“C-can’t… stop… ’m so scared.”

Caretaker x Whumpee

A/n: Sorry for not posting anything I’m 5Ever Motivation and Ideas recently decided to just *Pouf* — But one decided to drop in suddenly and I actually felt a shred of motivation tonight. Not my best but I’m happy with it.

× × ×

A soft musky scent faintly filled the room while Caretaker sat downstairs on their computer, catching up on some light paperwork they had put off until the scent softly hit their senses.

Their brows arched curiously.

A familiar scent, though it wasn’t one they were too fond of, lingered in the air around them, and as they turned, they could see a soft haze of smoke swirling through the rays of light peeking through the curtains.

Caretaker sighed while shaking their head slowly while getting up from their seat, walking towards the stairs while following the aroma to Whumpee’s room, where the smell had become more pronounced.

They reached out to the door, knocking softly while resting their other hand on the knob, “Whumpee.. Can I come in?”

“Yeah… I guess.” They heard Whumpee blandly respond from the other side of the door as Caretaker turned the knob, letting out a soft sigh.

“So this is all you’re going to do with your life now? Smoke weed and isolate yourself from everyone?” They asked carefully, in a more concerned way than questioning.

“Guess so…” Whumpee said while staring up at the ceiling with a deadpan expression as they raised their hand to their lips, softly inhaling off a lit joint, feeling the smoke softly burn their throat and lungs, causing them to cough quietly.

“Whumpee, come on. This isn’t going to help you with anything.” Caretaker frowned softly while leaning against the doorframe, crossing their arms slightly in front of themselves.

“Alright, if you say so, caretaker."

Whumpee rolled their eyes, faintly feeling a sudden flare of annoyance, while sitting up, reaching their hand over towards an ashtray, putting out the joint while running their free hand through their hair.

"Seriously?” Caretaker clicked their tongue softly while sighing, letting a clear disappointment underline their tone.

“Look, you wouldn’t get it, okay? Just… leave me alone. I’m not hurting anyone or whatever. I just want to be by myself. Why is that so hard for people to understand!”

Whumpee glared towards Caretaker feeling more heated as their voice rosed towards them in an angry, cracked way.

Caretaker gazed at Whumpee with a light shock. They had never genuinely raised their voice in anger at them before like this.

“Yeah, I’ve been smoking a lot more recently, and perhaps it’s because when I do, I feel something other than nothing—or just hating myself—and I just want to be alone.”

Whumpee lowered their tone after a moment while laying back down, turning so their back faced Caretaker.

The air between them grew thicker as a tense silence overcame the room.

Caretaker softened their expression after a few minutes, hearing the subtle soft whimpers of Whumpee from their bed.

“Do you really want to be alone, Whumpee..?” Caretaker asked quietly.

Whumpee stayed quiet while biting the inside of their lip softly, though tightly clutching the blankets around them, shaking their head slowly, letting out a soft, “No…"

"Do you want me to sit with you for a bit?"

”…yes please..“

A few cold tears escaped their eyes, staining their cheeks and leaving a damp trail behind them.

Caretaker hesitated for a moment before moving from the doorframe and walking towards the bed, sitting down on the edge of it while looking towards Whumpee in a more sympathetic way.

"Whumpee, I’m.. sorry. If I upset you or anything, I’m just worried about you."

"I know.. you didn’t. I just.. want to feel normal again. It’s been four years almost and I still–"

Whumpee cut themselves off while moving the blankets over their head, feeling a tight knot in their stomach and throat, thinking of Whumper, and how the thoughts of them still tainted their memory.

"Look I’ll never.. I’ll never understand, or even attempt to understand, 100% of what you went through, but I’m not giving up on you Whumpee, and I’m not going to let ‘Them’ get close to you.”

Caretaker paused for a moment while watching Whumpee curiously for a moment.

“Is it okay if I touch you, Whumpee?"

They stayed quiet for a moment before nodding faintly, only to quietly reaffirm themselves with a soft, "Yes…"

Caretaker smiled lightly, though it was in a more tender, softer way as they reached out, putting their palm flat against Whumpee’s back while slowly moving their hand up and down in a more soothing motion.

They felt Whumpee tense lightly initially, though they understood this was only an automatic response. After a few minutes, Caretaker could feel Whumpee relaxing a little more, slowly easing against their hand in a sense while moving the blankets from their head after a few minutes.

Whumpee took a few slower, deep breaths while turning over towards Caretaker.

Feeling more relaxed and less anxious from their gentle care, it made Whumpee feel faintly guilty now for snapping at them so irrationally.

"I’m Sorry.."

"You don’t have to apologize, Whumpee—”

“No, I do.. I just overreacted as usual.. I know you’re worried and just.. want to make sure I’m doing okay, and sometimes it’s hard to know that someone actually cares.."

"It’s all right, Whumpee; I forgive you for what it’s worth, but I don’t think this is necessary.”

There was a light pause of silence between them as Whumpee turned more towards Caretaker, sitting up while reaching their arms out around their shoulders, resting their head down a bit.

Caretaker looked down a bit more surprised while feeling unsure of what to do for a moment, before slowly moving their arms around Whumpee’s back, lightly holding them.

“Can you.. just hold me like this for a few minutes, please..?"

"Mhm, I think I can do that for you, Whumpee.” Caretaker smiled faintly while tightening their grip a little bit, so they had a more firm, yet soft hold on Whumpee while leaning back against the headboard.

Caretaker noticed Whumpee had fallen asleep after a few minutes; their heads rested against their shoulders, their arms now loosely draped around Caretaker.

Caretaker smiled softly while raising their hand, brushing a few strands of hair from Whumpee’s face while shifting them a bit into a more comfortable position, keeping their arms securely around Whumpee while closing their own eyes after a moment, before falling asleep themselves a few minutes later.

“By my calculations, this is the best course of action,” said L-F3, their knee joints squeaking as they arranged themselves on the damp muddy ground.

Whumpee looked down at L-F3, choking back tears as he shook his head.

“I do not want Whumper finding you after the many trials we have endured,” L-F3 persuaded, their dim yellow eyes glinting in the dull light.

“That’s why I-” Whumpee clutched his chest and slipped onto the ground, kneeling with his head hung. “I can’t do this.”

“You must.”

“We can… just part ways, and I go somewhere we didn’t plan.” Whumpee didn’t want to say even that, but it was better than the alternative.

“If I am taken intact, he will use my brain to analyse where you may be. I know your patterns.”

Whumpee gave L-F3 a watery smile. “You know me just that well.”

“I do. Which is why you must damage my brain. Physically, so there are no ghosts of memories.”

“But you must also know-”

L-F3 lifted their head and took a heavy rock from beside them and placed it in Whumpee’s hand. “I know. I am sorry.”

“No, no,” Whumpee began to sob. “How can you expect me to do this if you know?”

L-F3 didn’t respond, instead, they just laid back down, waiting.

“I will go, and then-”

Still flat on the ground, L-F3 grabbed Whumpee’s arm. “I cannot allow you to do that.”

“…Let go,” sniffed Whumpee, surprised by the strength of L-F3’s grip.

“No.” Their grip tightened. “You must render my brain unusable.”

“It hurts, L-F3,” Whumpee said, his voice cracking.

“Please,” said L-F3, their fingers pressing down hard into Whumpee’s already bruised and scarred skin.

“Just let go!” begged Whumpee, desperately trying to pull away from L-F3.

“I am afraid you will have to make me,” stated L-F3, their luminous eyes flickering for a second.

Whumpee tipped his head back, panting with the pain. The tears ran down into his mouth, tasting bitter.

As L-F3’s fingers began to break Whumpee’s skin, their eyes flickered more, scanning back and forth over Whumpee’s face.

Whumpee’s hand began to curl around the rock, and he gritted his teeth as the pain, though small, somehow felt worse than anything Whumper had ever done.

Blood dribbled along L-F3’s fingers and Whumpee raised the rock above L-F3.

“Why?” gasped Whumpee, his arm shuddering in resistance as his brain screamed for freedom.

But L-F3’s finger’s only dug in further, scratching at Whumpee’s muscle.

Whumpee screamed and thumped the rock down onto L-F3’s head.

Their eyes popped with light before the light dimmed again.

“Why?” yelled Whumpee as he sobbed, tears soaking his shirt and dripping with a metallic ping onto L-F3.

L-F3’s eyes scanned over Whumpee’s face again, trying to form words. “I-I-I-” But all they could do was hold Whumpee tighter, deeper.

Whumpee screamed with the pain and again brought the rock down onto L-F3’s head.

Their eyes popped and this time fizzled, only the lower half of one of their eyes staying lit.

“Why?” cried Whumpee again, as they brought down the rock once more.

“Be-Because I-I- lo-” said L-F3 through garbled and wrecked speakers. But the third impact of the rock stopped them from saying any more.

Circuitry and wires spilt and hung from L-F3’s head, sparking as water from the marshy ground swallowed them, along with everything else that made L-F3 alive.
