I really like the idea of alex and henry’s love being immortalized in some form to inspire future generations~

I’ve had the great pleasure of working together with @three-drink-amy on the @historyinthemakingzine ! This piece is based off her short fic called “What is a Legacy?” and it’s set a little further into the future with (spoiler: a family).

This book goes on sale tomorrow, and all I can say is that Casey is three for three on books that make me roll with laughter, choke up, and surge with hope. Unlike RWRB and OLS, Shara Wheeler is a YA novel, but it never underestimates its reader, delivering a plot that makes you just about as obsessed as Chloe is with the hunt for the missing prom queen, Shara. This story tackles religious conservativism, gender/sexual identity, the red state/blue state divide, among other themes, but the theme that spoke most to me was about truly seeing people as they are, as opposed to through the filter we unwittingly apply through a combination of social conditioning and our own hidden wounds.
For that reason, I painted Chloe seeing Shara through a looking glass. <3
I can’t recommend this one enough y’all. Grown-up readers: You will love it too! (I sure did!)
I’m on my second Casey McQuiston novel and the protagonists really do go
Wow my friend is so hot. They keep sending me love songs and saying they want to see me. They’re gay and I’m the most useless bisexual, and they pinned me to the wall and kissed me and all but what if they don’t actually like me?
Somebody else says they look at me with undisguised eroticism & love but I think it’s an exaggeration. I think about my friend so much that it’s fucking with my ability to complete basic tasks. Last week they told me they couldn’t live without me but it’s probably platonic.
I dreamt about us making love. My friend sent me another message saying they are longing for my touch and GOD me too. I’d tell them I love them but what if they don’t return my feelings?
They kissed me passionately again and it had such incredible homoerotic tension but I was probably misreading the situation. They’re the most exquisite creature I’ve ever seen & I can’t stop thinking about their lips. They said that I—

Here is my piece for #ofszine! The zine, featuring 50+ artists who draw their own version of a chosen scene, is currently available on Ko-Fi for $3, and all proceeds go to LGBTQIA+ charities.

One of my all time reread favorites is Red White And Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I love this book so much and I enjoy rereading it every single time. It’s never getting boring. Its magic
So I finished this little fanart of Henry and Alex because I love them! I want to be friends with all of them!
