#challenges
This challenge is made with an emphasis on human anatomy in mind because this is something I really want to improve on. Each week, I will make a post with references I find for the theme to help get everyone started. :D
Here, you can find all the reference lists I’ve made.
Your job, if you wish to join me, is to practice drawing the topic for that week. It can be doodles, sketches, an art piece that focuses on the theme, or whatever else you can think of.
Please join me in figuring out how to art, and tag your work each week under “50 weeks of arting” so we can find each other’s art and keep each other motivated yaaay :D

Kudos Apple.
This is the first time I’ve seen a challenge related to black history month. I welcome it with open arms. I need all the motivation I can find these days

I have to pat myself on the back here. This year has sucked ass for SO MANY reasons. But this is magical. I’m so happy with what I’ve done this year.
Blasted by my #35miles #timestwo goal! And then my October challenge!
Pish tosh you say….that’s nothing big.
It is to me! I’ve done Apple challenges since 2018 and only managed to complete four that year and four in 2019. I doubled that this year! And the year isn’t over!
Listen, I’m working from home (which sucks, I miss my cubicle) and supporting four kids virtual learning. I feel like I’m failing at both, daily. And I needed a win.
This is my win.
Damn that feels good

Nope, didn’t get to walk on Friday. The day got away from me. But I made up for it yesterday and today. So close to my goal and will surpass it this week.
Side note: this waist trainer is lovely. My core feels super supported on my walks and I know my posture has improved too. And yeah, I’ve lost some inches off my waist but I’ve been kicking ass since July. Just one more positive thing….not the only one ☺️.
Ooohhh! I got the new Apple Watch SE! I loooooove it! I had my series one (yes ONE) since 2017 and it helped kickstart my fitness journey after baby#4. It was time for an upgrade. I think I’ve earned it.

Gosh darnit
I’m not deaf. I had been awake for awhile before getting ready for my morning walk. It wasn’t until I opened my front door that I found out this damn garbage truck was on fire out front right next to our cars. Like, the whole cab was in flames. Didn’t even hear the fire truck come up. But they were there.
We watched them put it out from my son’s room upstairs. I had woke everyone up anticipating that this thing was gonna blow and had to get them to the back room. Thankfully that didn’t happen but of course I get the side eye from everyone for waking them up so early.
As my grandma would say, the devil is out here doing his work today. I’m gonna get this walk in somehow

It’s Monday…again. So hard to wake up and be motivated when the sun isn’t even out yet. The fog was really thick today so I decided to go indoors. And two thirds of the way in, this strong urge came over me to stop. It was weird for me because I didn’t feel pain or discomfort. No overwhelming exhaustion. I was like wtf?!
I think I hit a mental wall….sorta. Which I’ve experienced before, but not in the middle of a workout. Okay, wall acknowledged. I took it down a smidge (was working on hills) but kept my speed. Definitely not stopping. Fuck the wall. I have a goal to hit.
10.18.20
Another day in the books. And much needed after a hard leg day in the gym yesterday. A long walk feels so good on these sore muscles. Learned a while ago, when I’m sore, it doesn’t mean stop. Gotta keep moving…active rest ☺️

See something missing here?
I walked out of my house today without my Apple Watch on. ♂️ I was so mad at myself and was ready to turn around and go home!!
Then I remembered that my body keeps score, whether I wear the watch or not. And I walked the same path I did the day before and logged those damn miles. They counted!!
Also, I live 15 min away (by car) from the park I love to walk in. And that’s just too much time wasted in my busy schedule. ♀️

An awesome way to start the week. Round one down. On to round two.
10.11.20
Almost forgot to post my progress. Close to racking up my first 35. Then working on #times two. Time to start a new week
10.10.20
Obviously I put in some work indoors on this rainy Saturday. A little water ain’t gonna stop me
