Today’s featured cocktail is the Corn Maze.
Rich, frothy & slightly sweet - this Minnesota original evokes roasted sweet corn & getting lost in the labyrinth of a late Summer corn field maze.
Corn Field:
- Ardbeg Uigeadail
- Booker’s Bourbon
- Minnesota Sweet Corn
- simple syrup
- house made saffron-mole bitters

Background to my brain bubble that Crosshair loves the month of October and Halloween.
Crosshair and his brothers are military. He’s the sniper of the group. He is oh so very skilled being in one place for long periods of time.
So he loves Halloween. He also likes scaring people.
One day going through the newspaper, Cross saw the a local haunted house/corn maze was looking for volunteers. Since he was on R&R he had a lot of time to spare. So Crosshair decided that he would volunteer. He put in what he wanted to do. He wanted to be a scarecrow to scare people.
Crosshair got the approval. He was going to be one of the scarecrow sitting at one of the sections of the maze. He was also going tp be a back up zombie walking the grounds near the haunted house. Crosshair smiled because he was actually excited. Hunter was in the room when Crosshair smiled and was a little bit concerned.
Crosshair took becoming a scarecrow really serious. He got himself a paid shirt and some overalls that he kind destroyed to look worn and torn. He practice scarecrow and see if he could scare his brothers. One thing he learned is he need to be very careful with kids. It took a long time for Omega to calm down.
Then the haunted house started. He was shown his spot where he was going to spend a lot of time. He ensured that he would be comfortable to be sitting there er for long periods fo time.
Cross was a big hit. He scared many people that were epic. There with a lot of videos popping up on social media of Scarecrow Cross scaring a lot of people. He did have to be a zombie one day. He also scared the shit out a lot of people.
October was a very good month. Cross was in the best of moods during that time.
Photos of me from my trip to the pumpkin patch / corn maze! I’m the worst at knowing how to pose! It’s weird, I can make other people look good, but I just look awkward in photos! I left the mask on for all my photos because it fit the aesthetic and I’ll for sure remember this was the pandemic halloween! (Hopefully the only one!) The dress is from amazon and doesn’t have pockets even though it looks like it should. Boo.
