I’ve started trying to make little potion bottles out of resin. First one looked good…then turned out to be terrible. But the second one! That one looks okay! Now I get to think about how to decorate them. Woo!

I have a macramé piece in mind that I wanna do but that means I have to get my yarn out of storage. Alternatively I could go buy a new skein… but that would be wasteful since I already have so much of it XD

I wanted to make something to represent my uncle since All Saint’s/Soul’s Day is here.
I initially struggled a little bit with what I wanted to do for it, but I did finally understand what I wanted to do and got it started, finishing it this past weekend.
We weren’t related by blood, but he was a strong paternal figure in my life growing up who watched over my mother and my siblings and helped us out when we needed it most. Words can’t express how much I love and appreciate all he did for us. I miss you, Uncle. I love you.

Since getting into What We Do In The Shadows I knew I wanted to do a papercraft, but I couldn’t figure out a subject… until That Fight in s3e10. I knew then I had to do something to symbolize Guillermo and Nandor’s… complex relationship.
I’ve been working on this on and off since February! I included some selections from the work-in-progress thread I kept on my art twitter, zeeteeart. Both boys are wearing some lovely marbled paper I bought, I was so pleased with how well that teal one could be fussy-cut into a striped Guillermo sweater! I was also amused to be able to use crepe creepy paper in Nandor’s beard and in the streamers, and this was my first time using wire elements in a papercraft! The stakes are cut from a woodstain sample booklet. The gold, silver, green, and light-purple papers are actually glittery, but that never shows up well in a scan… :’D

It’s finished!!! As a first ever time making a plushie, it’s not half bad.
My biggest takeaway is that I need to learn how to secure thread ends properly lol it’s already coming apart

Sorry for not posting on here for a while. Life has been crazy lately but it’s getting less hectic.
I’ve been in to making duct tape prints. Here are three of my favorites so far. I’ll be uploading more soon.
Today’s prints are Batman from the animated series, Protoman helmet from Megaman (the saying is from The Megas) and Zoidberg from futurama

A wild Geodude appears!!!

A wild Nidoran (female) appears!!!
Remember last September when I mentioned that I gave up on a Pokémon to make Magnemite? No? Well check out my Magnemite post. The Pokémon I was referring to was Nidoran (female).
I originally gave up on this one for a couple of reasons. Mostly because I was moving at the time and I didn’t want to half-ass it. But here it is 100% complete. Although I do feel like I botched the ears a bit. I can never get them even…
The other reason I never finished this Pokémon sooner was because I didn’t have many pastel blues. I didn’t want to pay $10 per 8 yard roll on Ebay either. Luckily Duck finally re-released the pastel blue color.
Nidoran (female) is my 36thPokémon.
