I feel absolute rage when i call An Office and have to sit through a 5 minute recording telling me I can just use their website thanks!!! I can’t! Believe it or not I’m a child of the internet age who went on your website and it was shit!! Get me a human person!!!!

OK I’m honestly at the end of my rope on this one. Guys, why does every customer attempting to get a hold of my company assume that they can TEXT our office number??

“I have texted you three times and nobody has responded” BECAUSE YOU TEXTED A LANDLINE, MARGARET. WHAT THE FUCK. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT. THIS IS OUR MAIN BUSINESS NUMBER. That would be like me googling the phone number for my local Target location and then texting that number to ask about my online order status. That’s inane! That’s inexplicable!! I am losing my mind!!!!!

Getting real tired of people not knowing how to open a Dropbox file.

Sorry, but if a customer is being mean, just plain mean, has a history of being mean and foul and evil, I’m going to gaslight them.

“I’m sorry you feel that way,” I told Clark as he lambasted me for my service. I turned to get his coffee.

“I don’t feel anything,” Clark snarked at my back.

“Oh, it seems like you’re having a lot of unhappy feelings.” I smiled at Clark as I handed him his coffee. “I hope you have a better experience next time!”

“You make it so difficult every time,” Clark said.

“Maybe I won’t next time,” I said. “Do you need your receipt?”

“I’m calling the district manager,” Clark snarled.

“Oh then you’ll definitely want your receipt,” I said, still smiling. “It has my name on it.”

Clark snatched up his coffee and bustled out of the building.

I’m going to find Clark one day. I’m going to find him in the wild and ask him if he’s having a better day yet.

hey if a customer service person ever does a survey make sure you give them the max score they can get. even if they didnt go out of their way or anything for you, if their corporate is keeping an eye out on survey scores 9 out of 10 times they literally discard anything that is not 10/10 survey scores. so dont put 4 out of 5 on cleanliness or service or whatever just because it wasn’t perfect. that often times will count as a 0/5 score. you’d probably be better off just not doing the survey at that point.
