Danny laid in his bed, looking up at his ceiling which was currently decorated with stars and constellations which he put up after he got his ghost powers. He was silently naming the stars and how they got their names. Danny suddenly felt his ghost sense go off however it wasn’t the icey feeling like it normally would, it was a warm comforting feeling this time.

“Hey Sam” Danny said to the open air, his friend quickly turned off her invisibility, her pink ghost eyes glowing with annoyance. 

“You’re no fun,” Sam said in annoyance.

“So what’s up?” Danny asked, he knew something was up when Sam responded in a vocal tone instead of through the mental link.

“My parents are being…well them” Sam said with a mixed of annoyance but Danny could feel the sadness through there bond, “Can I spend the night here?”

“Sure of course” Danny said, as he knew he was the only one here beside Jazz “I’ll go get some more blankets.” 

Danny phased through the floor to go grab some more blankets and pillows, as well as sending a message to Tucker through the mental links as he could feel his others’ confusion at the current state of emotions. As soon as he got an armful of blankets and pillow he heard Tucker through the link saying he would be there soon. An all out sleepover? Eh it wasn’t new.

As he got back to his room and laid everything down noticing that Sam had transformed back into her human form, her pjs were all green instead of the normal black. The goth had started to incorporate more green into her ‘color palette’ but she had commented she wanted to do it slowly so as to not raise suspicion. However Danny’s opinion was that the town couldn’t put together that the group of awkward students that started the occult club wasn’t the same as the trio of ghost heroes that look similar, so changing her outfit colors wouldn’t raise any eyebrows.

“What with the outfit? Expecting a blizzard?” Sam questioned making Danny realize exactly what he had been wearing, a long sweater and fuzzy pj pants and socks.

“Listen it’s either this or waking up with everything frosted, you’re choice” Danny stated causing Sam to grimace, she always hated the cold and Danny being a walking iceman never helped.

“I’m here!” Tucker said as he phased through Danny’s wall, he had a giant bag on his back “And I brought snacks.” He said before turning back into his human form, gathering everything he would need for their sleepover.

Somehow they all ended up on Danny’s bed watching random youtube videos while snaking on some snacks the tech boy had brought. All were watching as they snuggled closer on the bed since Danny’s bed was pretty small, their cores’ sense to calm down being close to each other.

They have no idea when they fell asleep, all Danny knows was that they somehow all ended up tangled together, though he mainly blames that on Tucker, the human heat blanket and the fact he naturally starfishes in his sleep.

Danny’s parents are mermaid hunters (for scientific reasons) and Danny is transformed into a half merman when he accidentally activates a mermaid artifact his parents found in the ocean. Whenever he touches water he turns into a merman. He hides his merman form from everyone on land and hides his humanness from the mermaids he meets in the ocean by his town. It’s tough keeping his identity a secret, but at least he has two great friends who can help him get out of sticky situations. Danny’s parents and the mermaids are constantly at odds and it’s up to Danny to keep the peace and stop them from capturing or killing each other.

Chapter 7

Dannymay day 6 (space)

The stars shinned bright in the sky, a perfect and beautiful night for no one to see just a lonely ghost and it´s puppet

-You see, dear boy?…, a perfect world of peace and quiet in dreams and all thanks to you…-

Nocturne said in a soft tone to the boy who could not stop looking at his friends sleeping figure, a part of him having the best dream of his life, another one feeling he betrayed and hurt his friends.

-Yes…, master…-

Replied the puppet as he looked around the quiet place, a part of him could not bear it.

He just floated around with his gaze looking at the night sky, he could not process that he just beat Sam, the ghost girl he always looked up to, maybe sometimes being kinda jelous but…

Now she´s ok…, just dreaming…, everyone is happy now…

His doubt was cut short when a flash of light blinded him, adjusting his eyes to the light he could see… a portal…

A peculiar creature came out…, it´s head was mostly human, he looked even kinda similar to him when he was a regular human, black hair, white pale skin, but his eyes were green…, his jaw was made of a black substace , his sharp shark like teeth were visible in that substance that covered part of his neck too, under it his ribs and bones totally exposed, no organs and where his legs should be, this creature had a black mamba´s tail, he had 2 black wings in his back.

The creature looked in pain and kinda confused until it looked at Danny.

Nocturne looked through the boy´s eyes the new menace to their perfect utopia, he could see it´s dreams…, his… nightmares…

-What a peculiar being, you were torn from your dreams so soon…-

Danny was no longer in control of his body, being the puppet he´s, Nocturne looked through his eyes, speak with his mouth and moved with his body, the ghost gently touched the monster´s chin.

-Raw power in a mortal body hurts you doesn´t it?-

The creature simply nodded at the sense of confort in the ghost with another mouth, almost as if this creature was totally fond of this empty vassel.

-I miss…-

The creature tried to say but was cut short by the ghost.

-You miss your friends?, your family?, your… life…-

The creature nodded.

-I miss it all, I just want to go home, I want this to end…-

It exclaimed with despair in it´s voice, the ghost flew up hight, his hands letting out a smoke that made the creature dizzy.

-Don´t you worry little one, you´ll never have another bad dream ever again…-

The creature let itself being consumed by the sweet freedom of his dreams…

Dannymay day 3 and 4 college years/videotape

The girl has been walking around the ghost town for a long time, she´s just trying to find a shelter before nightfall.

Strangely enough, despite not knowing anything about combat, just having a wooden stick and being in the middle of a dense fog, she has not found a single monster or anything trying to hurt her…

Almost as if an angel is taking care of her…

She stopped at that thought…

Turned around…

And found that angel…

-Danny!-

She exclaimed as she saw him hitting a monster with a pipe…

-Just…, keep walking…-

She smiled as she got closer.

-I thought you didn´t want me near Mr. monster-

She said in a strangely happy tone for this situation.

-Don´t call me that…-

He left the corpse on the ground.

-Couldn´t bear the idea of someone totally defenseless walking around this town…, what are you looking for anyways?-

He asked, finally giving up in trying to be sneaky.

-I knew you were my friend!, well, I´m just trying to find my dad!-

He looked kinda worried

-Why would he come here?-

She shruged

-I don´t know, he just said he worked here, but now… I fear he´s involved into this stuff-

Danny pulled out a map from his pocket.

-Don´t give up that easily, maybe he´s hiding in the school-

He pointed it in the map.

-Some people from the outside hide there because… I can´t get in there too…-

He gave her the map, she took his arm.

-Please… don´t…, the school is just two buildings away, I´ll come to get you two out of there tomorrow, ok?-

She let go…

-You promise?-

He smiled…

-I promise…-

She got in there with great ease since the monsters looked like they respect the area, once she got through the door a tall man with silver hair and blue eyes appeared in front of her, she screamed.

-Don´t you worry miss, you´re safe here, welcome to my sanctuary…-

She knew this guy was trying to be kind, but… she had a bad feeling about this, something felt off unlike Danny despite dangerous at night this guy looked like if he was hiding something…

Time passed by…

She tried to look around for other survivors, she could find none, until… she found an old TV in a classroom that she accidentally turned on…


The video had two teenagers looking around the place, exploring until they found a symbol on the floor.

-I´m not sure about this Jack…-

Said the thin boy with a green, white and yellow shirt with a lab coat to his friend who was wearing an orange and black hazmat suit too.

-Come on V- man, just touch it and we can head out, ok?!-

The other one tried to complain, but his pleads went unheard as he accidentally step on it, the TV went static…, the sirens now going off, the girl went into the nearest closet, she could see the man getting in… he looked kinda sick…

Chapter 6

Dannymay2022 day 2 (no one knows au)

-He´s gone…, he´s really gone…-

I muttured to myself as I go inside this building.

I don´t know how long it has been since I saw it, how long I have been watching my brother´s body rotting, becoming less and less human…

He has been long gone since that incident.

Tied up to an obssesion that´s not his, drifting away from me…, from everyone chasing other ghost…, becoming more hostile for even the most weak ones.

Inside that building I looked at the stairs…, a shiver ran down my spine as I got closer…

He won´t speak, he hasn´t come home, Sam and Tucker don´t know what happened to him.

I´m so tired…

Even though I´ve been trying to reach him.

Why would a ghost would want my brother´s corpse?.

He would flee every time I get near.

I´m just looking for a burial before he changes his body more…

I´m on the ending of the stairs… the roof…

He was gone the next morning…

I walked near the edge…

He has been gone for 2 months now…

Even ignoring ghost, but…

I put a foot near the abyss…

He won´t ignore someone in danger, right?!

How to mimic to be human

(I think in a silent hill au Danny would not be someone who is exploring, he would be a cryptid from that place, maybe guilt?, fear?)

I had this idea in other post I did of Danny having a monstruous ghost form, this ectober I had the idea; a Danny who is basically a specter, he´s half human but every transformation he has, he´s slowly being overtaken by  his ghost form (changing his human half to match his ghost form)

Maybe I´m gonna bring some one-shots.

The staff or your friend

Ectober day 10, 11 (doppleganger, doors)

Danny was tracing a map from the ghost zone, it looks like it will never be complete as he’s slowly realizing the ghost zone is like a bottomless abyss, for every secret he uncovers, 30 more lurk in the shadows waiting to jump on his face, right now he was knocking doors to annotate how dangerous was this zone, he did encounter all different kinds of ghost by doing this… Good, evil, mad, friendly.

Right now he’s chewing a cookie Pandora gave him after he visited her liar, he flies around knocking the door of a ghost tiger with what appears to be 2 trainers, Ember’s door having her yelling at him to go since she was about to go to sleep, and finally he saw it…

A solitary purple door with no marks, just a black doorknob, he knocked the door and gave it some distance, knowing for experience the solitary doors usually have some kind of monster or an insane ghost.

He’s already reaching for the Fenton thermos with his left hand and swallowing the remains of his cookie, but what opened the door left him extremely confused.

A boy who looks almost just like him in his human half, with exception of his dark green eyes and his clothes having a naval blue hoodie, red pants, blue and white shoes and looking extremely pale with black bags under his eyes as if he hadn’t been sleeping in months, Danny lowered the thermos.

-um…, hi, sorry for disturbing you, I’m just writing a map and I wanted to know who habits this doors, so, don’t worry, I’m just passing by… -

The doppleganger smiles and before Danny can fly away he says.

-You’re Danny phantom? -

Danny turns around.

-uh yeah…, so… By your looks…, are you a fan or something?, are you a shape shifter? -

He asked as he remembered his experience with Amorpho, the look a like looks on the other side.

-something like that… -

Danny sighs internally in relief this ghost seems to be friendly, he approaches some more.

-Well, let me tell you, you kinda got my appearance wrong, I have white hair and my eyes are more glowy, but that’s a nice try-

He said with a smile, the other one just says.

-I know…, but I’m not trying to imitate you, this is just… Me… -

Danny almost laughed but he held back not wanting to spoil his relationship with this ghost before knowing how powerful he is.

-but… You said you were a shape shifter, you can’t just… Look like me…, or… Is that you… Don’t like your real…, ah, I’m sorry, I didn’t meant to… -

He said as he realized maybe this ghost felt ok with that form and doesn’t want to have to deal with something he doesn’t feel comfortable with…, the other one just laughed, relaxing Danny a little.

-relax, it’s just I was hoping you could recognize me like this… -

Danny seems confused

-do I… Know you? -

The ghost walks towards Danny allowing him to see his left arm is totally rotten

-not yet?-

Danny looks nauseous

-dude…-

Then he realizes… His arm is bleeding but the blood is not red or green like ectoplasm, it’s pitch black

He thought as he flinched, that seems to anger the peculiar doppleganger.

-oh, come on Danny!, it’s not that bad!, come back! -

Danny is now afraid and regretting getting near but he didn’t flee, thinking maybe this ghost is using an illusion or it’s ability to shape shift to mess around with him

-ok, ok, you got me, those were really nice tricks Amorpho… -

The other one didn’t seem happy with that answer

-um… New shape shifter ghost?… -

The other one didn’t answer, instead he looks hurt and conflicted.

-do you know… Plasmius? -

He said thinking of a clone, it was then when he saw it turning into some kind of mixed up animal, reminding him of certain incident with Sam’s ouija board…, it roared loudly, Danny screamed and blasted at it with an ecto ray making it get back to it’s liar, Danny closed the door and flew away as fast as he could, getting back to the Fenton portal.

-ok…, no more opening solitary doors… -

He said to himself as he closed the metal doors of the portal.

Also ectober day 8, 9 (splatter, mask)

so uuuuuuuuuuhhh this is based on an AU idea i had where Danny uses the fenton gloves to separate Dan into his component parts (bc if they could separate two parts of a whole original person (aka human and ghost Danny), why couldn’t they separate Dan back into the two people who made him??

the idea is also that, when they were separated, they didn’t exactly separate evenly. They werefused for a decade

Danny is now much more aggressive and anxious and extremely protective of himself and those he considers “his,” because this is still a Danny who experienced the loss of everyone he cared for. his cape (taken from Vlad) now has a star pattern because it functions more as a security blanket and he loves space/stars. It also has a flaming end similar to Dan’s hair

Vlad is now much more confused and lost. He genuinely wanted to help Danny when everything started, but that ended in disaster, and he’s lost his main purpose. His new look is like a mix of his human form outfit, his ghost outfit, and what he wore/looked like when he first got hit with the ghost portal. His gloves are red to symbolize the blood on his hands (it was the gloves he wore that caused all of this, after all)

their eye colors are now switched, and neither has blue skin because I think they’d try to cling to whatever humanity they had left to distance themselves from Dan (tho Vlad does blush blue now). their “cores” are now unstable, with Danny’s ice core having a bit of heat to it, and Vlad’s fire core having some frost to it
