RWBY characters ALWAYS get requested one way or another, specially the 4 main ladies, so it was pretty obvious I was gonna work on Ruby sooner or later, so here she is!
This is very obvious but SPOILERS ahead, if you haven’t watched RWBY and want to experience it at it’s fullest, skip the next part.
Ruby it’s your classic cheery, speedy, hypery, upbeaty protagonist, with a knack for getting in trouble at every corner and big dreams of becoming the best of the best, the greatest Huntress that the world of Remnant has ever seen, but to be able to start her path to greatness she first has to receive proper education and training to even become a Huntress and that happens for her at Beacon’s Academy, where she meets new and fun people, attends classes and little by little walks the path she has chosen for herself and her life is as great as it can be… fast forward 2 and a half volumes (seasons) *ahem* everything has gone to hell.
Beacon is in ruins, Pyrrha (one of the best waifus this show has to offer) is dead, Yang has lost one of her arms and the Grimm run rampant and vicious, Remnant has proved clearly why it’s a savage world, many things both good and bad, interesting and not so interesting happen to our little Ruby after, but I chose to center this waifu around her huntress concept.
I used elements from 3 of her outfits, but wanted to focus a bit more on the volume 7 one, for her hairstyle I went with her classic hair but juuuust a tad longer, and added the house brand, the Thicc Spice, but without going all the way to Extra Thicc, also needless to say but will do it anyways, she is aged up (21+ aprox)
If you like a lady that can cheer you up just as fast as she can get you in trouble and you get your kicks from that, believe me Ruby Rose is the waifu you’re looking for, leave some love for her on the comments and I’ll see you on the next one!

Ruby’s hair always had that messy and spikey touch, which I like because it goes well with her bubbly personality, I wanted to stick to that just with longer hair, also changed the color of her blouse to go better with the rest of her equipment giving off a more mature/experienced look.

Scythe is one of the best scifi books I’ve read in a long time. It makes readers think about so many things—death, technology, knowledge—in ways that most of us probably avoid. It was interesting to read about a world most people would consider to be a utopia, no conflict, no sickness, no natural death…one that could so easily be turned upside down—not just by the scythes, but by anyone who decided they wanted to know more. All of mankind’s knowledge is at their fingertips, it isn’t too much of a stretch to think that one day someone will become curious and go looking through the Thunderhead, and then find weaknesses that will bring the Thunderhead and society as they know it crashing down around them. Also, the Scythdom, Scythe Goddard has already proven that there is discontent and a desire for greater power, though most of his immediate followers have been killed in the first book, there are always more looking to grasp on to whatever tendrils of power they can find. I’m looking forward to reading more in this series, but most of all I’m very excited to see if chaos and destruction will reign in the end.
Finally went and made a proper character reference sheet for my oc Milala. I think I’ve finally found a horn style that I like for her! But idk. Then again I am fickle. WE SHALL SEE.
My favorite part about the dress is the little flap in the back which is something no one will most likely ever see, haha.
did a reference sheet of Milala’s forms. technically in pw, nightshade race just has human form and reaper form. but in my land (lala land?) there’s as many pointless forms as i goddamn want, so that i may satisfy my selfish desire to draw various horns. who knows, maybe she’s like son goku and has endless form evolutions that happen as i think of them. maybe next i’ll draw her in some kind of God Reaper form. WHO KNOWS.

my oc Milala, she’s a nightshade stormbringer class from an mmo i play and my latest muse :3 haha. it was a fun excuse to practice drawing horn type things, and scythes! also, an excuse to abuse my pencil brush in photoshop. woohoo!

Like a lot of people — entrepreneurial and Type A people, in particular — I’ve fallen victim to the romanticism of DOING ALL THE THINGS. Yes, even in California’s freakishly warm weather, I can’t shake that winter feeling.
Naluri are guardians that raise living things in their early years.
They may take care of humans, animals, plants and everything in between.
They keep their ward safe and advise them through obstacles to stay alive. Usually they can’t be seen but they can be heard,by speaking into their microphones and broadcasting from their halos.
They need this as they exist in a separate plane. Some call them the voices in one’s head, or instinct.
Naluri will guide only younglings and move on to the next, but there are cases of Naluri who become loyally attached to their ward and access freedom, staying with them for longer than they should. These are the heterochromic ones. Heterochromic Naluri can allow themselves to be seen by their ward and can even physically interact with them. They sacrifice one of their eyes to grant their ward the ability to see them and to physically interact with them. The sacrificed eye may have a black sclera.
