*I can’t really translate this. In Japan children will call teenagers and young adults big brother or big sister. And there’s this particle that acknowledges a person but doesn’t actually mean anything. Basically, Seto said “(acknowledging)big brother”. But in America we don’t say that.
Worried but determined to find their friend Joey; Yugi, Catzi, Tea, Tristan, and Bakura headed deeper into the caverns. I really enjoyed this episode. Though I did feel bad for Bakura. Having from getting a skeleton attack him to getting run over by a boulder that ended up being fake in the end. He deserves a hug damnit. I feel like my drawing of these characters have gotten better over the course of time. It’s really hard to believe. Of course, practice makes everything better. So, I feel like I did these guys justice. Certainly a lot better than most of the styles and animation in the actual anime itself. Like seriously, rewatching the series, I noticed how most of the animation is just bad. Oh well…and yes, I am quite aware they would not be that bright if they are in a dark cave. I honestly felt it would be better to leave them like that so you can see them. also, I still suck at making backgrounds… -_-; also, I am glad I am still going strong with my rewrite of the series that’s for sure.
Happy Halloween! I figured this would be the perfect pic to post on Halloween. Though it is kinda sad I wasn’t able to write this episode in time for the holiday itself, but eh what can you do? At least I managed to color this. I’m sure everyone is aware of this episode. It’s one of my favorites. I like how it ties into the manga and having these guys as their favorite monsters. For Catzi, I’m sure you guys have already guessed who she is. Let me just say that drawing these pictures is not easy. Full figures at least. I am really happy with they all came out for sure.
