This moment, when Maul hangs up on Palpatine, is in my opinion the most empowered Maul ever gets to be. In fact, I think it might even be going too far! I’m not sure Maul, as I think of him, would ever have the confidence to actually do this. But this moment ultimately doesn’t last very long, and Maul is certainly humbled by the end of this comic. :(

Some fun ones for this year’s Art vs Artist
Technically it’s not in the Superhero genre, but Star Wars has been a part of my life since I was a toddler (original trilogy era). So, as it’s May the 4th, I have to post something. I’ll keep it 90s though. In 1999, when I saw Darth Maul in the trailer for Star Wars: Episode I - the Phantom Menace, I flipped. “It’s a double-edged lightsaber!”
