So for those paying attention to Yinshi and his blips of story, you may recognize his beloved Kentaro here. Is it weird that I’ve thought of the ending before finishing the stuff in the middle?
That girl getting decapitated is the lead mean girl bully at their high school. She’s basically Yinshi’s main antagonist for Season 1, and Kentaro is ultimately the one to take her out.
I’m pretty proud of this one. My group liked the cross hatching for the shading here. They kept pushing me to experiment with it. Usually, I keep my marks in the same direction, but this works too.
Don’t mind the head on the floor, she isn’t important.
The finale to Yinshi’s story I’ve been wanting to draw for ages. Honestly there should be more stories where characters are equally Yandere for each other. Both are passionate, loving, and willing to kill for each other! Everything you want in a partner!
I went a little crazy with the oil pastels in this one. It helps create a kind of atmosphere in the drawing. My classmates liked how I put several colors in Kentaro’s hair. Yinshi is the character that really pushed me to expand my traditional work this semester, so it felt right to have him in the final five drawings.
Life in “Paradise” was non-stop pvp hell before Scroller died. Hunger is a pretty strong motivator. The first victims didn’t even know what’s what, but once they died to hunger and respawned, they started eating their old bodies and then killing each other for meat.
Once they tried taking turns to be sacrificed for meat, but that didn’t work out because people are selfish grumblers. Then everyone starts killing each other or forming groups, but that didn’t work well enough either because a lot of them are back stabbers.
Once Scroller came and put all cows in stock, fights stopped. Basic politic 101; identify groups and fuck one to gain support of rest. People won’t fight if they don’t have to. He gives 0 fuck about happiness of fellow men, but he certainly enjoys not having to watch his back all the time.
As the final winner of tournament, the witch was awarded with public execution.
After stripping her and locking her on the execution table, the usher gently amputated her ability to resist using a razor sharp ulu. The mixed feeling of fear and shame delivered an explosive ecstasy as she was plundered and butchered in front of thousands of spectators.
His ulu went through her slender neck like a hot knife through butter.
Betsy plunged toward the witch, and felt the spear tip carving through soft meat. She savored the sweet taste of flesh and victory until she realized it was her own neck she just lopped off.
Though it was the witch that won the duel, she envied Betsy and wondered herself what it’d feel like to cut her own head off.
