I decided I wanted to make my own paper cut version of a book cover for John Green’s ‘Looking for Alaska’. It’s based on a combination of the labyrinth idea within the book and the white flowers which are so significant.

This is NOT for sale, however I do have items for sale in my etsy shop.

If anyone wants to suggest other books for me to do covers for then feel free!I hope you like it. :)

A beautiful quote from Hank Green in the 'Thoughts from a butterfly hatch’ video which I made into a papercut. It’s done from a single sheet of A4 card. :)
I really hope you like it. :) This paper cut is available to purchase as a one off in my shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/123458202/rationally-true-hank-green-papercut

‘Grateful to be a little boat, full of water, still floating.’ - John Green - I'm not going down: Thoughts from Amsterdam.

I couldn't help myself, I just love this quote so much. It sums up life so well. :)

Original available to purchase in my shop here. Can anyone recommend me a good site to sell prints through? :)

Let me know if you have any requests or custom orders, I hope you all like it! :)

I have started a series of paper cuts using some of my favourite quotations, and this is the first.

The quotation is ‘My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations’ from the novel 'The Fault in our Stars’ by John Green.

If you have any requests for quotes you would like to see turned into paper cuts then please ask.

Some of you may remember when I made my own paper cut book cover for ‘Looking for Alaska’, and I decided today that I should make my own one for 'The Fault in Our Stars’ as well. :)

As you can see from the second photo it is cut by hand with a craft knife from a single sheet of card. For the design I opted for Hazel and Gus holding hands, with Gus’s cigarette clasped between his fingers too. I hope you like it. :)

Obviously this piece isn’t for sale, however there is lots of my other work for sale in my shop here.

One of our favorite authors and public figures, John Green has been doing some great work in the refugee camps of Jordan this week.

Not only has he written The Fault in our Stars, Paper Towns and Looking For Alaska (to name a few), he and his brother continuously work on projects to make the whole world a better place. From their daily vlogs (vlogbrothers), to Crash Course (their Youtube program exploring various educational topics), to VidCon to the charity works done by the Project for Awesome and by the ‘NerdFighter’ community - John Green is truly a great human being

Thank you, John, for exploring, explaining and supporting important global issues. DFTBA (Don’t Forget To Be Awesome)
