INKTOBER Day 22
Today is day 22, and by just looking at my name you may be able to see how important this number is for me. I don’t know why, some people have a certain lucky charm or a favourite colour, I have this number.
This year was so important for me, ‘cause this year I turned 22 (call me stupid if you want XD). At the start of this year, my grandma died, we were really close as I was the little kid of the family, and we were both very alike. It was a big shock and I will remember her every time I think of the year I was turning 22.
I guess this number can’t get more special uh? :) I did this thinking of her.

A thing from a year ago. The flowers are traced after Da Vinci’s drawings and paintings.

I remember being completely enchanted with The Hobbit when I first read it when I was 8, and that enchantment has remained with me.

Well, I promised something bigger and better, and here it is!
‘When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.’ - Cersei Lannister
I just love this quotation so much, to me it completely sums up the whole series and the nature of medieval politics. Love it. This piece took an absolute age to do, but I think it was worth it. The sigils featured are houses Stark, Lannister, Baratheon, Arryn, Greyjoy, Martell, Tyrell, Targaryen and Frey.

I have started a series of paper cuts using some of my favourite quotations, and this is the first.
The quotation is ‘My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations’ from the novel 'The Fault in our Stars’ by John Green.

Some of you may remember when I made my own paper cut book cover for ‘Looking for Alaska’, and I decided today that I should make my own one for 'The Fault in Our Stars’ as well. :)
As you can see from the second photo it is cut by hand with a craft knife from a single sheet of card. For the design I opted for Hazel and Gus holding hands, with Gus’s cigarette clasped between his fingers too. I hope you like it. :)
Obviously this piece isn’t for sale, however there is lots of my other work for sale in my shop here.
