So many of us have friends, family in Puerto Rico. This hits close to home personally for many of my close friends, and I’ve had the privilege of spending time on the island and Culebra.

Sometimes it’s hard to know what to say with so much going on, some times I don’t want to put pretty food pics up that’s why I get busy being the change I want to see everyday, because my Immigrant Mother instilled hard work + love for the world in me not hate. Still figuring out what to do and how to create safe spaces with my students but I know silence isn’t an option.
