Haven’t sketched with actual pencils in a while, feels so nice to grab the notebook and doodle away.
Here are a few sketches of my #Inquisitorlavellan on the actual playthrough I am doing now, Erya Lavellan .
I am finally playing the trespasser DLC, I played the original DAI on PS3 so until I got a pc upgrade I couldn’t play the whole thing, but i am finally there! so excited!

I finished it! Phew that armour was a fun practice….I started a new playthrough with a Cullenmance so I had to draw him :B he even has my inquisitor on his plates hahaha.

Finally managed to get them all together. All of my DragonAge Characters, together with their darlings ❤️
Used these as a warmup each day. Note that I don’t draw these in 15mins or so. I’m still only a mortal Just a bit of it each day, to get going and keep that knife sharp.

Somewhat bittersweet. Looking back, I wish I had put more effort into parts of it, but at that time, it was what I could do. And that should be good enough. I started it, bc I realized I didn’t have a painting- but a drawing-problem, and couldn’t find enough ideas to sketch each day. And also bc I just love Comics and DA, to be honest. Well, that’s solved. And now I’m thrilled to move on. I want to turn to more illustration work now.

Inking page 5/5. My feelings for DA dried a bit up after 4 playthroughs and over half a year of fanart, and in my mind I was already contemplating compositions for one of my favorite D&D OC’s, who’s illustration is still missing…
And than BioWare released some new sneak peeks of DA4.

Who would have thought, that just 5 pages of a comic could take you so long xD Well, I didn’t. So many ups and downs. I wonder, if all artists are like that. Or does that just mean, that I’m improving? Just one more page to do.

Coloring page 4/5. I feel like I didn’t give this one enough energy. I somehow lost perspective of why I am doing this, got frustrated not reaching my goals and just wanted to finish it, and it shows.
Even if something doesn’t turns out the way we want it, we should let go of all these expectations and at least enjoy what we are doing. As long as we enjoy something, we will always give our best.
And if it still doesn’t met our expectations, these might just have been to high. As long as we strive, we will make progress, and that’s good enough.
One last page to do. I should remember that lesson.
