By the way legislators aren’t making laws specifically targeting the LGBTQ community because of pansexuals or trans people without dysphoria or aces and aros. They’re doing it because they hate queer people, and want to make us existing openly illegal.
No amount of “but but but the new labels are making us look bad and people won’t take us seriously” will ever change the fact that you are putting yourself on the side of people that want us dead. So stand by your community, or put a damn sock in it.

Nonbinary people with niche microgenders are just as much a part of the community as any other nonbinary person, you guys are just letting your internalized cringe project onto others
“Nonbinary people don’t owe you gender neutrality” means “nonbinary people can have full beards and look 110% masc and not tuck and still be nonbinary” just as much as it means “nonbinary people can have long hair and wear makeup and have boobs and still be nonbinary”

People that use it/it’s pronouns
People that use noun/nounself pronouns
People that use no pronouns
Cis people using “different” pronouns
People who are at fault for attacks against queer rights:
The politicians attacking queer rights
The white supremacists attacking queer rights
The conservative crowds attacking queer rights
The transphobes attacking queer rights
The homophobes attacking queer rights
The only people at fault for attacks on queer rights are the people attacking queer rights. Don’t blame your community for having their rights taken away alongside you.

3:so the chances are if you know someone’s gender, it won’t be brought up again. It doesn’t matter if you know or not, or what their gender is. It changes nothing, calm down.
4:we all know how pronouns are used, they’re used to talk ABOUT someone. They’re descriptors. A call to your dad wouldn’t sound like ‘hey HIM, I heard the weather by HE was getting pretty cold. HIMSELF might want to get some blankets so HIS can stay warm! Love HIMSELF, talk to HE next week!” So how often are you really going to be talking ABOUT this person, that you clearly already have no interest in even talking TO?
So let’s at least acknowledge that genders and pronouns are very similar to a person’s pet(s). To them, it could be the most important thing in the world! And really after being made aware of it, this won’t affect you at all. So please stop shouting at them about how pet dogs are terrible and should never be allowed inside of houses.
