#nonbinary positivity
✨Daily reminder to not compare yourself to other trans people!!!
It doesn’t make you any less valid that they’re further along in their transition! ✨
✨It doesn’t mean you’re not nonbinary if they look/present completely differently!
Even if they pass and you don’t, you still deserve respect and understanding when it comes to your identity!✨
✨Nonbinary comes in all shapes and sizes and you are perfectly nonbinary just the way you are
✨✨

Friendly reminder that all trans people experience their transness differently, so don’t invalidate yourself if you’ve had a different experience from others (and don’t invalidate others if they’ve had a different experience from you)! <3
It’s ok if you feel like you need to change your pronouns again.
Being nonbinary is a complex way to be. It’s also flexible and adaptable.
Finding better pronouns now is just as important and legitimate as the first time.

Yes, you need to be trans.
Yes, nonbinary people exist.
Neopronouns are fun, as are MOGAI genders.

You don’t need to transition to “be nonbinary”
Can’t transition because of an unsafe environment? That’s okay!
Can’t transition because of health issues? That’s okay!
Can’t transition because of financial struggles? That’s okay!
Just don’t want to transition? That’s okay!
You’re still nonbinary and it doesn’t depend on transitioning
Nonbinary people with niche microgenders are just as much a part of the community as any other nonbinary person, you guys are just letting your internalized cringe project onto others
“Nonbinary people don’t owe you gender neutrality” means “nonbinary people can have full beards and look 110% masc and not tuck and still be nonbinary” just as much as it means “nonbinary people can have long hair and wear makeup and have boobs and still be nonbinary”
Nonbinary does not mean “feminine lite” it means “nonbinary”

Happy Nonbinary Parents Day! (every 3rd Sunday of April)
Send this card to a nonbinary parent you know!
Did you know oak trees are both male and female and belong in the family Quercus (“queercus”) ;) And that they help their offspring by sharing nutrients and fungi?

Aro enbies are wonderful and truly endearing. I hope that they get to enjoy something they like today
Some of the alternative terms are gender neutral while others are specific to nonbinary people.
Remember: you should talk to your nonbinary friends to discuss what terms they are personally comfortable with. Don’t assume that enben will always use these terms.
it’s okay if the phrase “born this way” doesn’t resonate with you. it doesn’t have to. if you’re trans and you were your assigned gender at some point, if your orientation is related to trauma, if you just don’t care if you were born this way or not… etc. etc. that’s all fine and good. we all have different stories and different ways of identifying ourselves. your queerness is just as meaningful and important and true as those who were born this way.
You know who’s incredible? Every nonbinary butch person ever.
Being aporagender is real and beautiful. Aporagender people are incredible and deserve love, happiness, and acceptance.
little shoutout for all of the trans people currently having to dress in ways that are uncomfortable for them because of the hot weather and lack of access to gender affirming clothes designed for the heat.
Genderfluid people are valid in all of the genders that they experience, and aren’t any less (insert any gender here) than people who are that gender all the time
