• Eren is a very passionate guy so it’s likely there’s gonna be some arguments at some point - but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing 
• (On a personal note - couples that never argue? That’s fuckin’ weird)
• Small arguments are usually resolved quickly and don’t need much shouting. Eren doesn’t mind admitting he’s wrong and apologising and neither do you
• Bigger things though, such as weather to join the Scouts or a huge decision involving your futures, is likely to result in a much bigger argument
• With important things, Eren is less willing to compromise and has a pretty one-track mind, at times refusing to see alternative strategies or other points of view 
• It’s something he learns gradually but in the beginning it’s going to cause a few issues. If Eren perceives you to be standing in the way of his goals, weather those be personal or ‘for the good of humanity’ he’s gonna get understandably passionate 
• It usually ends with him saying a lot of things he doesn’t mean and then storming off. And by God, Eren knows exactly which buttons to press when he needs to 
• The silent treatment usually comes next, the length of which depends on how serious the augment is and how hurtful Eren was initially 
• Apologies will come eventually, moreso for Eren allowing his tongue to run away with him rather than his stance on the issue
• But now that things are a little calmer, the two of you can talk them through rationally and come to a decision together 
• Other arguments are usually centered around your safety or combat ability. While Eren wants you to be the best you can be and excel in the military, he’s also cautious about putting you in any danger - the two views seem to come into conflict a lot 
• “How can i improve if i don’t get the chance to hone my skills? I’m no use to anyone in the middle of the formation away from all the action”
• “What use are you to anyone if you die before you get the chance to improve? You should be in the safest place in the formation!” 
• What Eren needs is a partner who’s just as headstrong as him and can stand up for themselves, doing what they want no matter what Eren thinks about it 
• You just need to remind yourself that arguments occur because of how deeply Eren feels about you, and he’s not going to let you do something risky or detrimental without a fight

Hello everybody!

I wanted to tell you about a post that left me somewhat sad. The owner of the post criticized a scene from Hange and mainly the voice actress Park Romi in a very hateful way saying:

“I wish she actually read the manga and undestood the character or at least she stopped trying so hard to sound like she smoked 20 packs of cigarrettes”

I just found it very sad that that person despite being a Hange stan could not see the incredible performance of Park Romi and the dedication and love she has towards Hange.

So I wanted to do an appreciation post for Hange’s voice and the amazing Park Romi.

Park Romi was asked at the 2015 Otakon at the Baltimore convention Center in Baltimore :

Fan:of all the characters of aot, is there someone you want to trade places with?

Romi-san: of all the characters? Hange. (with her hand on her heart) Hange Zoe. I love her. Hange zoe! (She was speaking in english btw)

One of my first favorite things about Hange was their voice.

I understood right away why Park Romi was chosen to voice Hange. Miss Romi is a seiyuu who has worked in the industry since 1995. In her career, most of her characters are strong and powerful women outside the typical stereotypes of Japanese voice actresses (tender, sweet, high-pitched voices).

Characters like Nana Osaki (Nana) Teresa (Claymore) Pakunoda (hunter x hunter) Alma (Radiant) They represent Miss Romi’s career very well.

But one of the things that I like the most about Miss Romi being chosen for Hange is the great presence of male characters in her filmography. Edward Elric (FMA) Toshiro Hitsugaya (Bleach) Tao Ren (Shaman king) Ganta Igarashi (Deadman wonderland)

Park Romi’s deep, low, husky and elegant voice not only demonstrates Hange’s maturity and intelligence but also contributes even better to the free interpretation of Hange’s gender.

(Also I personally find husky voices very attractive)

I have seen many people say that they don’t like Hange’s voice in the original language because it “sounds like an older woman” And I try to be respectful cause it’s their opinion, but it really pissed me off. I don’t see people complaining of how most woman in anime sound like 12 year old kids

Anyway, just appreciate the seiyuus’s performances. Many suffer from anxiety and health problems, all in order to do their job well and also for us to enjoy our anime. Isayama is present during the recordings and chose many of the actors. Please, appreciate all this work and be respectful.

I have my own little personal thoughts about the final chapter, I’m still trying to process the information and recover from the emotional shock I felt while reading it. I am so confused I’m not sure what I feel right now

But nothing changes how grateful I am to Isayama for all these years.

I love snk so much. I knew that no matter how the ending was shown, that was not going to change.

I really had a great time all these years, especially meeting Hange was something very meaningful to me. I’m crying I’m so sad and I wish it had lasted longer…

But anyway my favorite moments of the chapter were my three babies, I mean I knew I was going to cry but damn … Mikasa, Armin and Eren

that will be really hard to watch in the anime

(And I miss them ALL already)

this manga save me and I’m lucky to be able to say that I was part of this when it wasn’t over yet :’)

Sorry for using panels from the manga but honestly in my opinion this episode was not my favorite (I loved it of course, but it’s not my favorite) I am a bit in a bad mood for some parts that were excluded or that were not appreciated so much. I know probably nobody cares except me. I’m not complaining, I’m giving my opinion so I hope no one comes to bother me in the comments :)

Anyway

It will always amazed me how I can love Hange more and more.

I mean, is that even possible ??

When I read this in the manga I was so touched by how big Hange’s heart is.

She knew who those children were and yet her first thought was to stop the whole situation.

In the anime you can’t appreciate it that much but Hange was the first person to reach out to help Falco

She didn’t have to be so attentive to him, so worried about him but she was because that’s just how Hange is

Even when Nicolo told her that it was surely too late, Hange stepped forward and began themself, despite being the commander to try to save Falco, to bathe him!!

I just … love her so much. Every episode I am so proud of her

all of you snk fandom after seeing this arc you are not allowed to ignore Hange anymore! YOU CAN’T

All these years Hange never felt that Erwin made the right decision in choosing her as commander. Always blaming themself and taking responsibility for inevitable mistakes. Feeling depressed and useless and still giving her all to do the right thing, to fulfill her role as a leader.

People always focus on Levi’s suffering for choosing Armin and Armin’s pain for being the one who lived in Erwin’s place, but hardly anyone talks about Hange, as always no one recognizes their hard work…
