THE ONE WITH A HATER ~
In my mind, this mani will forever be linked with a bad memory lol. A coworker made me understand that it wasn’t her fav among all the nail art I’ve done. I agree with her but I’m the only one who’s allowed to hate on my work lol. Other people have to admire and say that they’ve never seen anything like that before lol.

TINY LITTLE BLACK DETAILS ~
I think that it was the first time I used properly a long liner, it’s funny when you think that I’ve been doing my nails for more than 10 years. There is always first times I guess lol. Usually, I use a tiny detail brush but for this one the liner was more appropriate.

HAPPY GALENTINE’S DAY! ~
I’m back with my annual dramatic ass anti Valentine’s Day nail art. Unlike the precedent ones, I used the Valentine’s Day aesthetic. For someone who’s not really a fan of this celebration, I actually like its aesthetic : the colors, the hearts… I even used a nail polish from Essie 2019 Valentine’s Day collection. I bought a bunch of polishes from their Valentine’s Day collection because I liked the packaging lol. Marketing really does something to me.
So for this nail art, I did some broken hearts (again, so dramatic lol. Already preparing myself for the comments at work) on a pink and red base. Then I put the glitter from Essie.
I wasn’t going for this design at first, I wanted to do like negative space hearts but it turned out really shitty so I did these instead. I’m satisfied with the final result.
Like I say it every year, love yourself or at least try. I know how hard it can be and especially within this society that can make us feel not worthy but just know you are.

CHEVRONS & TRIANGLES ON PASTEL ~
I wasn’t going for that design in the beginning but I’m pretty satisfied with the result. This nail art was very easy to do.
I did some pastel chevrons on a black base for my pointer and middle fingernails. For my ring and pinky fingernails, I used the dry brush technique for the background with the same pastel colors and I did some black triangles and chevrons.
