I agree with that post that says Daring’s arc should have had more to do with his siblings, but I don’t like the blaming him for not stepping in against his parents. It’s a difficult thing to do, and he was being abused himself to be honest.

 I mean look at his actions in Dragon Games and Epic Winter… after he lost his destiny as Apple’s Prince Charming, and became the Beast he was distraught and even expressed surprise Rosa was showing him kindness when he wasn’t even handsome. That hardly screams mentally well adjusted. Daring always did his best to meet their standards and only just began to think of what he might want for himself instead of accepting being Apple’s Prince. He def internalized those standards they had. And of course he does love his siblings

Plus let’s be real, it’s not like the  series even acknowledge the Charmings are abusive parents.

Cinderella Cupid

The outfit that inspired this post. Ngl an entire line of dolls showing what characters might look like with their fairy tales swapped would be so cool (like the once upon a twist books) but because C.A Cupid is my favorite character in all of eah I am specifically biased to show this one. The light blue for Ashylnn mixed with cupids pink and bronze color scheme surprisingly works really well and makes her look really pretty!

Farrah is actually my 2nd favorite character in eah, so again this is partially out of personal bias. But also imagine how the glitter train and the stars on her gloves would look as a doll! And the sparkly makeup too! Sparkly star themed makeup is my weakness.

The cat ear ponytail is amazing. The black gothic style lace on the collar? Ooh and the black fur gloves! We love a gothic looking queen. Also love how they incorporated Kitty’s caterpillar pet subtly into her mask (as lets be real caterpillars are not the easiest animal to translate into a pretty masquerade mask)

Holly x Poppy Redesign

Figuring out uniform designs for these two was a headache, cuz when I look at their cannon designs, my brain just short circuits. I had to simplify and delete a lot of stuff from their original looks… I hope it still translates as Holly and Poppy though

Side note: Ty all for the support on the original Holly redesign post!!! Diversity and representation in children’s media is an issue that’s very close to my heart and I could go on and on about it. But it’s a little nerve wracking to talk about online cuz you just never know how people are gonna react. But literally everyone that interacted with that post has been so positive and understanding and that makes me feel sooo happy like y’all don’t even know. And the fact that a lot of you also had to deal with being severely underrepresented as children and would’ve loved to see a long haired black Rapunzel on tv as a kid. Ahhhh I’m tearing up, it’s so validating to know that I’m not just screaming into the void and that this was a legit issue that soooo many little black girls had to deal with. Ok anyway, thank you so muchhh, your support means a lot to me, and black girls everywhere I SEE YOU SIS. k love u bye
