Sneak-peek of Blue-Blooded upcoming demo part two! Thank you for following our development & we hope you enjoy this extract as well.

[alt: For the first time, Calder did not face you when he spoke. He simply looked on, gaze averted, as though the etched-out words on the statue of the temple would become legible to him if he stared long enough. You couldn’t help but notice that even from the side he could easily have been a statue himself, sculpted by the hands of another. Finally, he turned to look back at you and spoke, his eyes holding a somber glaze, “We’re firewood and dreams are a spark.”

A pause.

“They may appear beautiful and bright, bring us warmth and lend us light, but even a single spark can ignite an uncontrollable fire.” There was something— an emotion, a feeling— indecipherable to you behind his words. His eyes wander to Valens, who has their back turned to both of you.

“And it consumes you, without mercy.” ]

The third official extract of the Blue-Blooded demo, we’re looking at a release date sometime within these upcoming weeks; thank you, everyone, for your support.

[ “Why?”

That was the first time you’d heard Valens speak since arriving, and their airy voice sounded heavier than iron as it fell upon the palpable silence in the throne room. Sibyl took an audible gulp beside you, doe-like eyes set on Valens and teeming with concern as they tried to predict what misfortune could possibly befall you next. You glanced over to Calder, but he was avoiding your gaze. Valens dared to take a step towards the throne, their stormy gaze never once wavering from the Crown.

“If it is us you fear, why not rid yourself of all of us, why gather us here instead?”

Sibyl’s mouth fell agape at the implication of Valens’ words. Were they… Asking Eris to kill us?

Sibyl’s head swiveled to you, checking to see if you were in the same state of disbelief as them. A pause. Then, Eris’ cackle rang in your ears. Hand demurely over their mouth, they kept laughing whilst staring Valens down, finally rising to their feet and approaching your group, their shoes clicking against the cold marble floor every step of the way. They stopped an arms-length away from Valens. Their laughter faded into a hoarse chuckle until it completely ceased and they simply smiled crookedly.

“Why, you can shear the wool off a sheep many times, but you can only skin it once.”

Their finger reached under Valens’ chin, “And by the looks of it, I can hope to make any shepherds jealous.” ]

2sol centella 100 power ampoule
4/5
Good: works, light blocking, packaging
Bad: syrupy smell, toner type packaging doesn’t make sense

I havent used this for an extended period of time so I can’t say yet how this compares to cosrx centella blemish ampoule. This will be updated later.

I got this because it was cheaper and contained twice more product than the product from cosrx.

It is really runny, like liquid, and is brown. I dont know if either product from the companies are sensitive to light. I don’t know if light actually affects the performance of the product. This seems more like an extract than an essence or even an ampoule. However, my understanding is that it is a 100% concentration or formula.

The packing has a larger hole for controlling liquid, so it doesn’t actually control much. I had to transfer the product to a spray bottle. I feel like I use a lot for one application, but I’m not sure yet.

So I don’t have a definitive opinion about this product but I just wanted to let others know what the consistency was like so they weren’t as surprised as me.

An extract from The Vine

Riding over the dunes in the blazing starlight was as exhilarating as Afif had imagined. The horses’ ears were pricked, their eyes wide and eager, delighted to be cantering relaxedly in the cool of a night that was almost as bright as day. The world was illuminated with the cold, silver-white light of stars instead of the hot, red-gold light of the sun.

It was so bright that Afif could see colours. The smart bay of Aruna’s coat seemed deeper and richer in the starlight, and he could even make out that some of the jewels in the hilt of the prince’s dagger gleamed ruby-red when the starlight caught them as the breeze blew the prince’s robe back from his waist.

They rode in silence, aside from the muffled sound of the horses’ hooves in the sand and the occasional jingle of harness or snort of the horses’ breath.

As they reached the crest of a dune, the prince reined in his mount, and Afif drew rein beside him. Shadows shook his head happily, with a small snort of satisfaction, and Afif smiled inwardly, happy that his horse was pleased. Beyond them were more dunes, rolling forever in the night, a hundred huge black curving shadows with curving silver tops.

The prince was looking upward, and Afif followed his gaze.

The stars seemed brighter and closer than ever. Afif could almost hear them singing. They swallowed his gaze. Look at us! Look at us! We are so alive tonight!

A million, million of them. As many as the grains of sand that made up a dune. As many as the breaths a mortal might draw in a lifetime. As many as the hairs on a satin-coated horse.

For a long time, Afif and the prince stared at the stars in silence. Occasionally, one of the horses shifted his stance, but the riders’ eyes remained fixed on the sky above. Time seemed to have stood still for a while.

At last, the prince spoke.

I think they are too beautiful to be human souls,” he remarked calmly, with a touch of wistfulness. “Surely even a good soul does not shine so purely.”

Afif looked at him, not knowing what to say.

If Afif had said such a thing, and someone had looked at him as Afif now looked at the prince, Afif might have felt the need to apologise for saying a thing that was so unusual. The other stable-boys would almost certainly have made fun of him for saying something so poetic, and this was one reason why Afif usually kept his thoughts to himself.

But princes do not need to apologise to stable-boys for speaking their minds.

What do you think?” the prince asked Afif. “Have you ever met a soul that shone so beautifully as one of those stars?”

Afif thought for a moment, regarding his horse’s piebald mane and the dunes beyond.

Not in a person, Your Highness,” he said, after a pause. “… But perhaps in a horse.”

The stable-boy was surprised when he glanced up and saw that the prince was beaming at him. Afif saw his dark eyes and white teeth.

There was a pause.

Why is that, do you think?” the prince asked then. “Why are horses more beautiful, more noble, than we are?”

Afif thought some more.

Because they are honest, Your Highness,” he ventured, still keeping his voice quiet as the night demanded. “They do not try to be anything other than what they are. But they try to be the best they can be. And they never scorn any other living thing for being what it is.”

Again the stable-boy risked glancing at the prince, and again he saw the prince beaming at him.

A good answer,” the prince said softly.

Again, the two riders stared at the stars for a long time.

Chapter 3 “A messy shock” Extract:

Between sobs Lexie vaguely made out the words, “I..I had another accident” saying those words Lexie had never felt so ashamed in her life, she could have lied but Lexie knew her mom would find out in a much more embarrassing way if she did and she just wanted it to be over.

Lexie saw her mom take a deep breath of surprise before trying to hide it with a small smile, “When baby”

Tears streaming down her face Lexie couldn’t look at her mother before replying with “Just now”

Her mother looked concerned and approached her child with a kind face, she understood now was not the time to get angry but to support her daughter, “Okay well lets get you out of those wet clothes first and then you can explain how it happened” her mom began

“I’m not wet” Lexie interrupted feeling like such a child, on what planet was that thing for a 19 year old to say.

Lexie saw her Moms face crumple in confusion and it was all Lexie could do but to not run away right there. “I see” Lexie’s mom said slightly dismayed

Chapter 2 “The party” Extract:

“On my count” Olivia said controllingly, “3…2..1…go”

Lexie had no choice as she began to chug her drink, she could feel every mouthful go through her and debated stopping halfway through when her balder made a sort of lurch to tell her to stop but Lexie ignored it opting to power through an prove to Olivia she could do what she wanted. Gulp after gulp went straight to her bladder and she was beginning to get to the end of her drink her knees wobbled realising the fullness of it.

After finishing her drink her hand went straight to her abdomen as if being able to feel her fulness, “I’m done” she said determined, despite her alarmingly full bladder, it did feel good to beat Olivia and Lexie decided it was instantly worth it.

“Looks like we were right all along” Clara said triumphantly, “C’mon Lexie lets go and dance” She said pulling her friends hand off to another room. Lexie let out a small gasp at the sudden jerking movement as her a bladder gave an alarming ache. It was hard to keep up with Clara as she tugged her through the house and each step had Lexie realise the extent of her problem more and she resorted to bending over a little to calm the jolts in bladder.

Chapter 1 “Awakening” Extract:

Lexie had pretty much talked herself out of it, when an intense ache on her bladder overcame her and she had that fuzzy warm feeling of being able to be young again and it was just so exciting. NO She kept telling herself but it was just so tempting. You can’t its not good, you’ll make a mess and then mom will be mad. Just leak a bit then, let the pressure go. Lexie’s heart was pounding with excitement as she realised she could leak, just a bit not enough to cause any damage. She felt so childish as was sprawled across her bed all warm in her covers not a care in the world and she knew it was naughty but the adrenaline had got the better of her

She didn’t wasn’t to move as she felt that defeated the purpose, as that it why she was allowing herself to let go a bit, just to be more comfortable and time efficient, that’s all. Her heart was pounding and she seemed to be aware of everything going on around her as she started to relax.
