LIVE

Dear God,

Your word tells me that I will be known by my fruits. I pray that the fruit of the Holy Spirit will grow and be evident in my life, that I will be a loving and Christlike example to others, that I will have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this possible, for I know when these fruits are nurtured and grown that I will be happy and content and able to reach the potential you have for me; that I will be able to minister to others through the power of the Holy Spirit; that I will be pleasing to you. Help me please to live in the Spirit, not in the flesh.

I pray and thank you in the name of Jesus, amen.

Valuing The Human

An innocent little six year old was mercilessly gunned down by someone in a fit of road rage recently.

I wondered how was this possible?

The Lord led me to the story of Cain and Abel in the book of Genesis.

Cain and Abel were two brothers, the children of Eve, “the mother of all the living.”

When her first son was born, Eve called him “Cain,” a name related to a word for “lament” or “wail.”…

Nevertheless, Said Jesus

Prayer Poem~Nevertheless, Said Jesus

Encouraging Scriptures

Jesus Christ said, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming…

Christ, My Healer

I Am the God that heals thee
I mend the broken hearts
I restore the shattered souls
That have been torn apart…

I Am the God that heals thee
Who bears with thee thy pain
I bore upon My cross thy grief,
Thy sickness, and thy shame…

I bore thy suffering, thy sin
And by My stripes you’re healed
And made whole within thy soul,
Redeemed, forever sealed…
Upon My heart, upon My hands

Faithful Living (#wtsdevo faithfulness)I love listening to the inspiring and life changing messages

Faithful Living (#wtsdevo faithfulness)

I love listening to the inspiring and life changing messages that I hear every Sunday. They make impact when it comes to how I live daily and transforms the way I think and approach situations. As Christians, we are keen to hear all that is being shared when our Pastors and teachers share them but all too often it is hard to actually apply them into our own lives faithfully. That’s because of the human condition of being too comfortable and our pride.

However there’s more to living life than sticking to what our flesh tells us to and Christ demonstrated that to us through His life. Unlike most of those that were around Him, it was clear, reading the Bible, that Christ experienced a true sense of freedom. He lived a life of peace and He was in a position to be there for others and comfort them when the need came. His life became like so because He was shaped by His faithfulness - to His Father, to His cause and mission and His purpose.

There came several times when He was tempted and when He felt like He couldn’t go any further but by His faithfulness, He understood that there was something bigger and amazing on the other side and this is the same attitude that we too must adopt as we choose to follow Christ.

Is it easy to say with our mouths that we will change but true transformation comes about when we choose to be faithful. Often times, things (and life) may come our way to disrupt our calling and all it takes to deflect these moments is faithfulness.

It can make all the difference to life beyond measure.

Hello October

Welcome into the month of October. Drumroll . It’s been ten months in the years but by God’s grace, we are still standing. I absolutely love the month of October because of the change of season and that gentle reminder that the year is drawing to an end. Also, so many people I know are born in this month and it’s a time to celebrate the amazing people that God has placed in my life.

October is…

February was all about #LifeGivingRelationships: become a “Life-Giving Person”, what is

February was all about #LifeGivingRelationships: become a “Life-Giving Person”, what is a “Life-Giving Relationship”, & “What Kills Good Relationships”.
Last @jpcc’s @datekg36 sharing about this theme is “How to Handle Aggression That Potentially Kills Good Relationships” by @diandraepifania. To the very least, you want to protect yourself & protect your relationship with the person who hurt you. But to your very best, you want to carry out the Great Commandment & Commission.
The Basic Tips are:
#1 Don’t let the aggression get to you. You need to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23), because that’s what makes your choices, & your choices determine how you want to live your life. Once we have the right heart, the strong heart, we can..
#2 Think. Be careful before acting is important; only when we do it we can..
#3 Act accordingly, which is compassion.
When you face aggression you need to have your #shield & the (unseathed) #sword. Somebody can strike you down with sword, but because you always keep your shields up, they cannot harm you. And while you need to carry your sword all the time, you must not use it (Luke 22: 36-38, Luke 22:49-51, Matthew 26:52), because only by this you can show the people who hurt you: “Hey, look. You hurt me. And as you can see, I can hurt you back with my sword, but I won’t do it!” As Paul made it clear in Rome 12: “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. Do not take revenge, leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”says the Lord. In doing this, you’ll heap burning coals on his head.”

As we act out these 3 tips, it is our #soul that makes all the decisions. In order to do them automatically, exercising our #Spirit is crucial. Galatians 5:22-23 describes all the #FruitsOfTheSpirit which can help us strengthen our shields & use our unsheathened swords more comfortably. #Love,#joy, #peace, #patience, #kindness, #goodness, #faithfulness,#gentleness, #selfcontrol; they’re internally driven, not situation-based & can be part of our character. Once it becomes our character, we can effortlessly express them in our actions, inc. when we face aggression. (at Kondominium Menara Kelapa Gading)

But the fruit of the Spirit is
#love,
#joy,
#peace,
#forbearance,
#kindness,
#goodness,
#faithfulness,
#gentleness, and
#selfcontrol.
Against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22-23). Exercise these fruits and nobody shall be against you.
