This was a color practice for character that I was thinking about painting. After some thinking, I’d like to work on my painting skills a little bit more before tackling the types of details and textures I’d like to implement into the design.

Void No. 6 has an emerald crystal heart. The face is hollow and lined with black velvet. It has a coat of specialty faux fur that glistens like dragon scales when the light shifts. The neck is comprised of individually layered fur, ostrich feather, and gold tinsel. Each fur color change on the body was hand sewn together. Every part of the skeleton contains a fully posable ball and socket armature that will not wear out over time. The ears have a ball joint base so it can be easily posed in any position. The head, ears, and legs were all cast in durable resin and painted with pigments that shimmer like the fur.
Pick was the theme for today’s Inktober. When we are in the open, sometimes we find ourselves imagining being surrounded by fantastic creatures, so we immediately thought about this scene with this little one!
Hello, World! Passed a lot since the last time, but we’re glad to start a new chapter in our story. During these times, we’ve had the opportunity to meet fantastic people and characters, leaving a mark in our hearts! Now, we’re going to tell you about our journey ;)
We want to start with this one. A digitalpainting commission made for a crucial moment in the life of one of our customers. It means rebirth, and in some way, it meant the same for us while painting it!
After a very long time, I decided to start publishing something again.
These months was very busy for us,between work, problems, various stresses, inner conflicts and demons… anyway the whole World seems to be against our wish to make art. But I’m not a person who gives up easily and I really love what I do. So life goes on ;)
I’ve got a lot of things to show you. For now, I’m going to share just some meaningful things. Among these, I re-discovered an old passion of mine, the sculpture. I’m having a lot of fun with fantasy miniatures and small objects like pendants and keychains, can’t wait to show you someting more!
I’ve always been shy and a private person, so I find difficult to use social networks in general and that’s one of the reason I’ve take a little break from Tumblr. Also, in a sea full of water drops, it’s diffcult to be noticed and this could means that nevermind how much effords you put in your artworks, it’s kinda easy to remain in the ocean deeps. And it’s demotivating. You know, the most important thing is to continue doing what you love. Yes, but it’s not easy to stay positive in some moments, right? xD
Anyway, I’ve met some beautiful people here that gave me so much motivation to continue my journey as an artist. I will be always grateful for all that wonderful support. Also a smile means so much even in the darkest moments, and if I will be able to give to you some positive emotions throught our art, it’ll be worth believing that also a little waterdrops is enought to make the World a better place ;)
For AOR’s second anniversary and @createforthra , I’m posting the creature I made for the Center for Puppetry art! They organised a “Design your own creature” were you could submit your creation. Now my Sand Swimmer is displayed with other creatures in their current AOR exhibition!
“Sand Swimmers live in the Crystal Desert. They are rarely seen out of the sand, only their eyes and nose protruding from the surface when resting. They live in packs and when they are close together, their group of eyes forms an oasis of flowers in the middle of the desert. Dousans often call it “Eyeflower fields,” a source of wonder and danger.
Thanks to their four arms and spoon-like fingers, Sand Swimmers can easily roam in the desert depths like it was an ocean. They hunt at night, luring their victims living on the surface with their glowing eyes. But they need to be careful because their flower-like eyes are actually delicious, so they better eat their prey quickly before ending up blind!”
