My werewolf character from my comic Ouramyr.

I wanted to make his design a bit chaotic because werewolves are this battle of humanity and instinct and to my design, Instinct is comsuming the humanity. I made the wolf part almost like a hood or this cloaking look. This character is minor threat to the main characters but still dangerous. If you want to know more on him and or the comic

Im an uncanny artist and I love how odd this nexomon is Wadtail’s design is right up my alley. I’m not into it’s other evolutions just the middle is for me.

These two duos battle it out to claim some land but are suddenly interrupted by human hunters and a giant Sage. What these four don’t realize is that they’re battling too close to a human civilization. They appear in Ch. 18

Its difficult but they’re my fav characters I’ve made. I can’t show favoritism. storm mythical beings are my fav~

hehehe this day i needed a break, I’ve been designing new characters for the pervious days. Went with something simple.

Assassinvine looks like a grape vine that is semi mobile. It’s vines will attempt to grab and choke it’s prey and consumes it’s food with its roots. The Fruit is poisonous if one manages to snatch some.

Did you know the north star use to be in the Draco constellation and not in the Usra Minor?

A chapter Idea to come. One of the protagonist (the purple one) is often referred as a harpy but clearly isn’t. But when they actually encounter this creatures I want to these gals not just to be ugly and nasty but flirty, troublemakers with attitude for they have nothing to loose.

Also called the white lady, she a type of harbinger. I wanted her to be a ghostly bride. A bride is a joyful and wonderful thing and at the same time she comes as a death omen.

This one i rushed…In ch9 the two protagonist encounter the Black Annis, but in turn it wasn’t the witch who should be feared.

Water Mama means Mermaid in Guyana. People disappear from these creatures. No one has seen a water mama but can hear them making huge splashes. It turns out Water mamas are the Arapaima

The Cuca takes away naughty children, especially if they don’t go to bed. Inez isn’t actually a bad girl but she did run away to prove a point. Last time Inez was in trouble from a witch its didn’t go to well for the witch, for Inez’s Sage is quit violent

The Black Dog of Newgate [English folktales]

If you could travel through time and visit places from all different eras of history, there are some places that would be lovely to visit and others that you’d definitely want to avoid. 17th century English prisons definitely fall into the latter category.

These institutions were notorious for their horrible living conditions, so it comes as no surprise that one of worst of these prisons, Newgate Prison, spawned some really dark folktales.

TheBlack Dog of Newgate is a spectre that supposedly haunted this building. He was a very large wild dog, with ‘saucer-like’ eyes that shone like lamps, and carried iron chains around his neck. Illustrations of this creature from the 17^th century sometimes depict the creature with snakes coming out of his head, like Medusa, but this might be an artistic choice and not intended to be taken literally.

In the 17^th century, a man named Luke Hutton published a pamphlet about this creature, claiming that the story was told to him by a strange, very thin man. This booklet is written like the author is trying to warn the reader about this dangerous supernatural creature, yet it does contain a disclaimer that the story is most likely fiction, with the remark that in reality there is only one black dog in the prison, and it is a statue. I wonder if the monster was originally intended as a metaphor for the harsh treatment of the inmates that the prison was so infamous for?

In any case, the black dog nevertheless gained a position among the local folktales and cryptids. I have seen claims that the story of the monster actually predates the booklet I mentioned, but there doesn’t seem to be a source on this statement, or any source older than the pamphlet.

The story goes like this: a peculiar man was (correctly) accused of sorcery and sentenced to a cell in the Newgate prison complex. Unfortunately for him, this happened during a time of great famine. During an uprising, some starving inmates overpowered him and, because the guards did not care enough about the prisoners to interfere, managed to kill the man and eat his corpse. But with his dying breath, the sorcerer cast a powerful curse on his assailants.

After he was slain and eaten, a large black dog was sometimes seen on the prison grounds. This monster was assumed by some to be the spirit of the victim, and it stalked the prison at night. The creature was formidable and hunted down all the inmates who were responsible for the sorcerer’s death, gruesomely killing every single one of them until none were left.

Though the prison was demolished over a century ago, there is still an urban legend about a shapeless black shadow that roams the Amen Court area.
