Can we talk about the fashion industry

Look, don’t get me wrong, I love all of the plus size models we see represented now. But can we just have average sized women, please?

I’m not a plus size, but I’m definitely not small or petite in any way. I’m just average. And I cannot find models that looks like me hardly ever.

I love fashion, and I love to look cute, but I’m insecure in my body because I don’t see fashionable influencers with my body type, or models that are just normal sized.

I just feel like us average people need representation too.

I need a good book. A book that will let me escape reality. I just want a peaceful day where I can just think; organize my thoughts.

Sweaters and hoodies are coming out. Personally I can’t wait to wear my turtle necks. Something about them just gives off such a classy, clean look. Plus they’re comfy! Wearing a turtle neck sweater or shirt with a simple pair or jeans is perfect for an easy outfit. It looks more put together and chic.

It’s getting quite snowy in Canada.. I think it’s great because for me it means christmas is coming but it’s also very very cold so i’m not too excited for that. I kind of miss fall…

I’m looking for more accessories like bags and earrings. I think for bag, something simple like a tote bag is perfect for everyday wear. An easy to carry around kinda bag. For earrings i’d really like something easy to match with. A simple gold, shaped earring is perfect. If i buy earrings, i should probably change them more often…

Anyone else just need a day to stay in bed and just do nothing? I mean the idea of just laying bed, watching a movie and being all cozy sounds great.

Lately i’ve been really inspired by adventure and self appreciation. Being able to spend a day alone doing the things you love, wether it’s just a simple cup of coffee or taking a walk around the city. I think it’s important to give your mind a break and to just focus on yourself. I used be afraid to sit alone but now I really enjoy it. Take time for yourself, do something you love.. you’re important too.

Sundays are the days where i just stay home and get ready to restart the week. I’m trying to be more organized and productive. I want to use an agenda or journal to organize my week to make sure I get everything done.

I’m going to clean out my closet today. I want to only keep the things I will actually wear. I don’t have much color in my closet but I think I like it since I can easily match clothes together. I’ve been wanting more jewelry lately too. Something simple that can be dressed up or dressed down.

I went to an art museum yesterday and it was very beautiful. I like the idea of having a simple wall and just a single portrait of art to focus on. It’s peaceful and relaxing to walk around also to see all the artistic pictures. I’m not going to lie, I don’t read all about each piece but even just looking at the art and interpreting what you think is happening is fun.

Here are some appreciation posts for shadows lol. I think I’ve realized that for me, i’d rather have a smaller closet with more expensive clothes than a big closet of cheaper clothes. Quality over quantity. Instead of always buying what’s cheapest, try saving up to buy something more expensive once in a while but, you know you’ll wear it frequently and that it’ll last long.

If you guys haven’t tried milk tea, please do. It changed my life for the better. Is it just me or is milk tea becoming more popular these days? I mean I see it all over social media and there are more bubble tea places opening up in the city. Don’t get me wrong though, i’m totally happy about all this ♡

Okay let’s face it, i love neutral colors. I just feel like they’re a great way to be simple and comfy but also look very put together. Even when you don’t know what to wear, sticking to minimal colors can make it look like you put a lot of effort into your outfit. I also recommend wearing more simple, easy to match jewelry. That way, you’re outfit won’t look like it’s all over the place. It’s also a great way to save money!

I woke up this morning and saw a very light layer of snow outside… not sure that i’m ready for winter but what can I do? I do love winter fashion though, I mean the coats, sweaters and cold colors are all so beautiful.

Once again going with the more minimal and neutral look, during the winter, a simple white or cream sweater/turtle neck is perfect. Pairing it with simple accessories like a clean, minimal necklace and simple styled rings can really make the outfit seem much classier. I always say less is more.

Is it getting cold for you guys?? I’m loving fall but missing summer already. I mean simple dresses and relaxing days. Kind of thinking i need a vacation soon…
