How cute would it be if The Daycare Attendant did sleight-of-hand magic to entertain kids in the daycare? I bet they have a fantastic repertoire of card tricks, disappearing coin tricks, and pulling-candy-from-thin-air tricks.
Also, have a bonus Human Sun and Criminally Teeny Gregory because I’m very fond of my human design for The Daycare Attendant/s and wanted to draw another piece. :)
I have never played a Five Nights at Freddy’s game in my life, and what little I know about it is from watching lets-plays and Game Theory videos when I was in early high school.
Recently, though, I’ve been watching a few other people play through the new Security Breach game. It looks very cool, and I decided to draw my favourite animatronic (animatronics?). I drew them as animatronics and also designed human forms because I like drawing people.
They simply sat, the tips of her fingers tracing over the center of his face-plate as the seven foot tall robot nervously clicked his own fingers together over the far too small kitti-kat blanket the children had placed over him and made a muffled sound that reminded her of a laboring laptop fan.
The sounds of children continued settling around them until even the brief rustling of blankets and far from silent giggles between friends evened out into the soft and steady sounds of breathing. Sharing that space with the nap time music, the faint rumbles of central cooling and the far off sounds of the rest of the Pizza-plex going on with their chaotic and brightly colored fun just outside of the Daycare doors.
All was quiet in this darkened sea of stars.
“…I think they’re all asleep.” Moon offered cautiously, the white glow of his eyes shifting to look up at her. “You can let me up -”
She knew he could get back up immediately if he wanted to - in a blink their head, body and joints contorting and realigning in a manner stolen straight from a horror movie - but never in front of the children.
Mr. Moon wanted peaceful dreamers - not nightmares.
(Though judging by the occasional guest complaints that was always going to be unavoidable)
“Mm. No.” She stared back down with a small smile pulling at the corner of her mouth, challenging to match that stare despite the brightness making her instinctively squint. “Remember - the kid’s agreement was that they would nap only if you napped. You need to keep your word, Moon.”
WHAT IS WITH ALL THE MOON SHIT IN THE MAINTENANCE TUNNELS????
And the weird mini daycare the security desk is in??? Why are we not talking about this??? Am I dumb did I miss something???
I HC that moon is actually rlly good with robotics and whatnot since they spend so much time in the maintenance tunnels (or at least assuming they do)
Like they know how to take apart/put together the other animatronics to some degree. (I also like to believe moon is the one who removed Freddy’s head after dragging him off for Vanessa)
I feel like it started with them being neglected so moon said “fuck this I’ll fix myself” and thus began their search for knowledge!
The staff bots in their room could be spare parts or something they practiced on
i feel like i cheated by using black as the lineart color, but i think i really made it work ☀️ one version has an overlay and the other doesn’t! i also made a regular color version i’m going to post separately
