lmao i realized i hadn’t gotten an email about creativemarket weekly freebies in a while so i checked and they finally killed it in favor of a paid monthly membership model
looks like they got bought by dribble, who lowered the cut artists get to 50% (including those who were previously grandfathered into the much higher rates they used to get), deleted the community forums where artists could talk to each other about the situation, got rid of promotional freebies, and added a membership fee for consumers that gives a discount on all items
and i didn’t notice because they didn’t actually announce it, either to me as a purchaser/affiliate or to the artists selling through their marketplace

Seems like every time I give bethesda the benefit of the doubt something happens to test my resolve. For example I’m trying to start playing the Automatron DLC, and the distress signal won’t work, the caravan isn’t there, there’s no robots or ADA anywhere.
According to the internet the only way to fix it is to reload a previous save or reinstall the DLC, or use console commands to spawn ADA and advance the quest.
And I play a completely unmodded game because I think mods are too much trouble. Awesome.
