started reading the raven boys(the raven cycle), i’m already obsessed and can’t wait to finish the series so i can join the another fandom on tumblr.
so i finished trc i got opal left tho. so please tag me in all kinds of post and get me involved in the fandom. I absolutely loved the books my only concern/question was that the others didn’t question Noah’s disappearance
who was gonna tell me about the dream trilogy?? i found out like a week ago at like 3am and ACTUALLY started sobbing. I got the book yesterday and im halfway through
Many people talk about how they love Adam Parrish but I just wanna say: I absolutely love Gansey.
He’s like the greatest nerd and the biggest dork you can think of. He’s 17 and 50 at the same time. His personal style is horrible. His friends are magical creatures/trees/dead/200 years old professors/Henry Cheng.
He has notebooks full of useless stuff. He lives in an era of smartphones and still makes handwritten notes and snippets of newspapers. He built a miniaturized Henrietta - no normal person would do that.
He had one wild obsession and was ready to give everything including his life for it.
He drives an unpractical and ugly car just because he feels good with it (it’s like the equivalent of wearing t-shirts with superheroes on them).
He’s just such a nerd and I love him for it. And for the fact that he doesn’t even hide it. Even the judge is like “hey did you find your dead king?”, the whole school is like “ah yes the Glendower, Gansey’s bf”.
adam parrish provides some of the best non-disaster bisexual representation. that boy is calculating & perfect. you’d never seen adam parrish in a rush or late for anything. you’d never catch adam parrish not knowing the answer to a question. adam knows everything he is NOT a disaster. now gansey on the other hand, said tropes are tropes for a reason and i will be the biggest bisexual disaster you’ve ever seen.
*adam and blue breaking the terrible news to gansey that he’s going to die within the year*
gansey: oh my god is that all??? i’ve known about that for ages!! come and get me when you have some real news. i’ve gotta get back to making tiny cardboard houses.
i’m just waiting for someone to step up and get the hennessy flower neck tattoos. which one of you is gonna take some initiative?? do it for the team <3
sorry. “light follows darkness” ???? but in latin???greywaren is for the mentally ill kids who are growing into mentally ill adults and don’t know how to exist anymore. it just is.
the raven cycle is candid photos and folk music and summer days and green grass and dirt roads and endless sky and breathing in fresh air from open windows, wind in your hair.
i don’t want anyone to forget that henry cheng thought a great way to start a friendship with gansey and blue was to invite them to his house to dress up in sheets and listen to kpop but also the fact that it actually worked
