Now I really wish I could afford a house like this. Beautiful facade with red sandstone, I probably just missed out the winter sun shining on it. And the wee car in front of it just made it proportionally massive.
The estate might have been ruined by some dated 70s residential blocks, but the mansion The Knowe is still standing strong. Designed by Alexander Greek Thomson, the gate and lodge remains but not well maintained.
[Edinburgh] I thought Dean’s Village is sort of a high street with shops and old buildings. Now that I’ve visited it, it is stunning!
One of the most elaborate building facade in Glasgow. Shame it’s facing a noisy motorway with bad air pollution.
[Edinburgh] it’s funny that everytime I visit Edinburgh, I never get the chance to visit the West End and Royal Botanic Garden. Booking required during the pandemic, but at least it’s still free. This is the glasshouse, or the main attraction of the botanic garden. Absolutely gorgeous from the outside.
Sometimes you wonder why they blindfolded him, and made him eternal.
The red sandstone is becoming shades of pink. What do you think?
Love the lighting design to the refurbished building. Can’t wait to see the building welcoming the locals again.
People rarely appreciate just part of the Kelvinhall building, but if you look closely every single details are worth investigating. The globe above look cool. Wonder how the view from above looks like, must be stunning!
Absolutely stunning building along Pollokshaw Road, just tucked along an eerily quiet road. I mean, the whole area is not pleasant even walking during the daytime. The local govt can only hope to regenerate the neighborhood via new developments.
Part of the Allison Court elevation. This building is magnificent, but as usual it could do with a bit of maintenance.
Big mansion at Greenbank Garden. it’s interesting to note that some windows are painted - they are not real! The walled garden looks tidy from the outside. It’s a shame that currently it’s closed due to the pandemic. Will have to go back the other day.
The celebration of Glasgow heritage. The tall windows brighten up the spiral staircase behind. What a gem!
It’s a mansion on top of the hill. Winter sun made the red sandstone charming, don’t you agree?
