I once saw a little girl at a riding lesson with stickers all over her riding helmet and she was the inspiration for Mabel’s helmet. Just like Mabel wears a different sweater every day, Skunk will get a different saddlepad.

I wish Kubo could have explained something about these two and what happened in the past.
I’m gonna do some more doodles before getting back to questions! I just wanted to draw my favorite old dudes back in the day when they maybe could have been friends? I dunno anyway since I haven’t posted Quincies! btw the artwork with the horse was inspired by Disney’s “Frollo” and his horse.
