How did Ron tell Dobby where Shell Cottage was?

When they were all trapped in the Malfoy Manor (?) dungeon, and Hermione was being tortured, Dobby came to Apparate them all out.

Ron told Dobby where Shell Cottage was so he could bring Luna, Dean, and Mr. Ollivander there.

But how was he able to tell Dobby?

Once they all arrived to the house (and after they buried Dobby), Bill said that they placed the Fidelious Charm on the house and that he (Bill) was secret keeper. That means that only Bill could’ve told anyone where Shell Cottage was.

So how was Ron able to do it?

I think you’ve forgotten how the Fidelious Charm works, Ms. Rowling.

Ron, singing: we found love in a homeless place

Hermione: *laughing* what did you just say?

Ron: what? it’s the song lyrics, “we found love in a homeless place”

Hermione: *dying of laughter* those aren’t the lyrics Ron. It’s ‘hopeless’ not ‘homeless’

Ron: well, I only found out about this muggle the song yesterday, okay

It really bothers me when I see posts like “not all gryffindors are brave, not all slytherins are evil, not all hufflepuffs are weak, not all ravenclaws are wise” with pictures of Peter Pettigrew, Severus Snape, Cedric Diggory, and Gilderoy Lockhart. These type of posts are incorrect.

They’re not all the defining traits typically associated with the houses. Slytherins would be ambitious, not evil; Hufflepuffs would be loyal, not weak. I really hate seeing posts like that because it’s saying the there are just a few exceptions to Hufflepuffs being weak. Hufflepuffs aren’t weak as a house. It isn’t a weaker house just because they didn’t originally have defining traits (Hufflepuff said she would take the rest and teach them just the same). It’s kinda really insulting to Hufflepuffs.

Also, most of the time they show Cedric Diggory for not being weak. This is ignoring other strong Hufflepuffs in the series, such as Tonks, Ernie, Hannah, and others that stayed behind to fight. I don’t think they’re just showing dead characters because Lockhart isn’t dead.

On a side note, it is also unfair that they’re saying almost all Slytherins are evil. On a general scale, it’s kinda true, but it’s not a defining trait of the house and is a bit rude. Slytherins have meaner tendencies than the other houses, but they shouldn’t say all of them are evil.

It just really pisses me off that the posts are saying that most Hufflepuffs are weak. It’s quite rude and not applicable in many, many situations.

i just love the idea that hermione granger had enough of a good reputation by third year that she was granted the power of legal time travel despite being 13/14 and had once deliberately set one of her teachers on fire?
