Another canned drink series. Fin and Lonkero (Finnish long drink)!
Trivia : Finnish-style long drink or ‘lonkero’ is an alcoholic drink made from gin and commonly grapefruit soda. I use Hartwall’s as the reference.
Greatest dearest @mslorelina-blog(ficbook) is working on a russian translation of this tremendous work

Remember Norfin Week? Now you do! It’s soon, and thanks to those that voted, we have our lineup of prompts for the event:
Day 1 | Jan. 14th: Snow❄️
Day 2 | Jan 15th: Childhood
Day 3 | Jan 16th: Angst
Day 4 | Jan 17th: Baking and sweets
Day 5 | Jan 18th:Magic✨
Day 6 | Jan 19th: Early morning
Day 7 | Jan 20th: Metal
As mentioned previously, you will be allowed to cash in 1 free day during the event to submit any NorFin work you wish, regardless of the day’s prompt. Keep this in mind if none of the prompts are to your taste!
Please send in any questions / concerns you may have! Rules will be posted soon.
- please tag all works posted for the event with #norfinweek2022 + tag this blog so i can see your post (tbh tagging > using the hashtag)
- any mediums are allowed for the event; you can submit written works, artwork, memes, comics, stimboards/moodboards, edits, etc.
- there is no maximum or minimum effort required for your submissions; your pieces can be as big and complex or small and simple as you like
- please keep all works norfin-related obviously, but let me take this a step further. please do not submit any works where their relationship is non-consensual or with sufin/dennor going on in the background. we are here to celebrate a healthy portrayal of norfin since old fandom doesn’t have much of that.
- any AUs are allowed. pre-existing AUs you have, nyotalia, nekotalia, etc. as long as it’s norfin.
- if you’re submitting fanfiction, you works may all be chapters of the same story/interconnected so long as each chapter follows the day’s prompt.
- i purposefully posted the prompts a month early as we’re nearing the holidays so you can plan and start creating early, but i will allow late submissions up until february.
- as for the “free day” option i’ve been mentioning, please only choose one day out of the week to use it. i will keep track of who’s used their free day so it’s fair. the prompts exist for a reason.but of course there’s no obligation to complete every prompt in the week and you can skip as many days as you like.
please message me or send in an ask if you have any questions!

Sweden: Finland… Why did you draw a pentagram on the floor?
Finland: Your text told me to satanize the house before you returned.

Sweden: I wrote sanitize, Finland.
A dose of facts: FinLiet
One Finnish writer Maila Talvio, has written a novel called “Two loves” (Fin. Kaksi rakkautta) and protagonist of this novel is Lithuanian who went to Helsinki. Protagonist of this book had some features of Vincas Kudirka (famous Lithuanian poet) and Maila Talvio with Vincas Kudirka were good friends. In one of memorials, there is said that when Vincas Kudirka was sick, Maila Talvio sung Finnish and Lithuanian songs that she’ve learned to him.
Even tho I have to go back to writing an essay about medicine, but after reading some scientific literature about Lithuanian- Finnish culturical, political ties, I start to ship them lmao.
What can I say is that student life is interesting.
