Hello everyone! From all of us here at Historical Hetalia Week, we’d like to thank you all for participating in our event! We enjoyed seeing what everyone created and spreading everyone’s wonderful content.
That being said, if you would still like to participate and have your content reblogged, we will keep reblogging up until March 6th. So if you weren’t able to participate this week, there is still a chance! Also, if you did post your content during the week and it wasn’t reblogged, or if we did reblog it but we didn’t tag it properly, please let us know. Tumblr is weird sometimes and doesn’t let us know who tagged us all the time, and we want to make sure we give everyone’s content a chance to shine!

For background, my story follows my own headcanons that involve a 1P/2P pairing (who are not related, but exist side by side) and rely heavily on the events of history from start to finish but with a folklore twist. [ this particular entry is set during early 1868 just after the Meiji Restoration begins and the two meet face to face.]
The first time Hikaru brought Kiku into the center of Edo was only a few days later; Hikaru wasn’t entirely sure what to make of the situation, but Kiku certainly could eat… they needed more food in the house. Kiku had other plans– as soon as the scent of a food vendor hit his incredibly sensitive nose, he disappeared from Hikaru’s sight, seemingly lost in the city. Upon finding him and giving him a gentle scolding, Kiku’s response was to change tactics.
Aren’t you hungry? Let’s go find the next one. I’m certain it’s this way.
Hikaru would get dragged around the city in what he called an inappropriate manner– but looking back, it was an adventure he wouldn’t trade for anything.

Prompts should be decided on by this date.
Writers should have an outline or 500 words written.
Artists should have a sketch.
December 24th: Ghost drop date
If a gifter has not responded by this date, we will assume they have dropped out. We will then find a free back up to fill up the gap.
December 28th: Second check-in
Writers should have 1000 words or more.
Artists should be halfway finished with final rendering.
January 01st: Ghost drop date

January 06th: Gifting day!
Gift Requirements:
Fanfiction must be a new work minimum of 1500 words, fulfill the prompt given and be complete.
Fanart must be a new work, have at least some color (or gray scale), and fulfill the prompt given.
And of course, besides those minimum requirements, your work must take in consideration and avoid any triggers mentioned by the giftee.

(I usually don’t draw ships I don’t ship myself but I saw you put Japan and Norway in one sentence and this picture was the first thing my mind made up. XD)
So you guys wanted me to reflect on Norway and Hungary’s relationship….well here I am.
Except there is not much to say. T-T
We scarcely met in history, if ever, and diplomatic relations only exist between us since 1920 when Norway officially accepted the Hungarian state as an independent state. The two has developed economic and commercial relationship ever since and today even cooperate in environmental protection campaigns.
Hungarians do have an opinion on Norwegians though. We think that they are pretty open-minded, pragmatic, optimistic, and work really well in groups and trust easily. They think any problem can be solved in some way and are not aftaid to get to work and see it done. They are also pretty self-confident and know what they want. They are also very proud of their history and their independence.
In most cases, Hungarians always paint Norwegians in a positive light, like a model country, while also pointing out why we sadly can’t be like them but should try still.
So the main point is: Hungarians like Norway but they have a very idealised picture of him in their minds.
What do Norwegians think of us though? I haven’t found any info related to that so if there are any Norwegians out there, please share an opinion.
