Spider Puddle: The last thing I did before I died was text my brother with an angry message. Could you please just let him know I love him? I’m not angry anymore, just dead! 

Chore Scorpion: I come from the toughest meanest place you can imagine. I want to be gentle, I want to die gently, but It seems that when life gets hard I have to get harder to match.

Giant Hornet: My horoscope said something had to change today. I would wake up and start that diet, strengthen my resolve to quit smoking, behead less bees, and so on. I don’t know what I want to change into though. If something has to change today I think it might be my subscription to horoscope.com. I only signed up to impress a lesbian. 

Flea Bezos: When you look at the planet, there are no borders. When it kicks me out I can hop over to another with my billions. 

Shield Bug [defecting questions]: I cannot make you understand me.

Shield Bug [introspecting]: I cannot even explain it to myself.

She was too busy for an interview, this is just what she had to say to herself.

Digger Bee: I’ll just live here and if I work 168 hours a week and never eat it’ll be fine.

Leaf Cocoon: Is the only way out student loans?

Leaf Cocoon: I’m over 18 days old! FAFSA wants my parents’ income, but i haven’t been in contact with them for some time. 

Stem Cocoon: Yeah my parents still claim me as dependent on their taxes but don’t help pay for school :-/

“(Dragonfly)”: It’s like this: I hold on to my horses all day and it’s exhausting. That or my horses:

• run so free they nearly flop dead 
• stomp vengefully on my life 

“(Dragonfly)”: Im the holder and the horses!! 

Locust 987446: Can you hear me?

Locust 987446: Is my voice lost to you in this noise? Am I being censored? I can not hear myself! if you can, please remember you heard me! 

Waterbug Crybaby: I have to stand on my tears, there isn’t a way to carry them and continue skirting around the pond. It’s just moving forward.

Wooly Bear: I am not poisonous! You are thinking of Procession Caterpillars but I am a Wooly Bear. You could put me on your eyebrows to disguise yourself from predators!

Fresh Cicada: Some things take like a huge amount of time to mature deep in your head and then when you start putting it on paper it just blooms and blooms and blooms.
