Tears streamed down my face as the negative thoughts cloud my mind, like a film replaying over and over again, like a loop — like a never ending song. It consumed my whole being and I wondered if there would ever be a way out of this blackhole of troubles. Everything was zoned out from my mind except the sound of my soft cries not wanting to alert him.

for context; sav and lorna uses “carpe diem”and“carpe noctem” to signal one another. carpe diem means that everything is okay, while carpe noctem is the opposite.
I came up with this idea literally last year, and didn’t sit down to draw it until now. Personally, I think each page’s success at getting ideas across got better and better haha. This also took me forever to finish, but I’m glad its done and I can now show it to you guys!

dear god the sheer magic of being so invested in a book you just sit and read half of it feverishly without any ability to stop, just gulping down word after word like it’s water in a desert and your eyes aren’t fast enough for your mind and when you reach the last page you look up and realize you’re not decades and miles away but in the space of your own room,,,, truly unmatched by any other human experience
no but zuko and aang’s relationship is legitimately so insane to me like…..my wound is your wound.. two wounds that match eachother not as mirrors but as copies.. a cord links us chest to back across time and space…. i waited several lives to find you i have crossed oceans of time to find you……..i feel crazy
