Dropped a self produced dancehall track

This is my first instrumental I’ve ever released

Drop a comment I’d really appreciate it <3

I’ve listened to Joni Mitchell’s ‘Both Sides Now’ at least 7 times consecutively and plan to give it at least another 3 listens tonight. I make no apologies for this.

So I just discovered this wonderful, complete recording of Chopin’s songs, played on a Pleyel piano from 1848 and although I don’t understand the polish language (very unfortunately) yesterday I was a sobbing mess listening to all these beauties  ;_;

Although I love them all so much, my favorites are WiosnaSpiew z mogily andPierscien. I looked up for an english translation of some of the songs and when I read the translation of Pierscien  I instantly thought about Maria Wodzinska, because the poem is about giving your beloved a silver ring only to see her marrying another man, and then my heart shattered while listening to this song, not only because it is beautiful, but also because Fryderyk wrote it when Maria’s family broke their engagement. And I just can’t imagine how heartbroken he must have been when he composed it

Piano: Nelson Goerner

How one can write music with such depth and beauty at the age of just 20, is still a mystery to me.

Listen to one of my favorite interpretations of this piece, played by Maria João Pires ~

Grigory Sokolov plays Chopin Prelude No. 1 in C major op. 28

This is the most amazing, seducing and mesmerizing interpretation I’ve ever heard of this prelude. It’s so much slower than usual, which really brings out the sensual quality of this piece.

I still think that these 46 seconds are the most bewitching and sensual thing I ever heard

Can you still hear

The sirens moan

Calling you home again

“Bluebird, Bluebird, Darkling said, I’ve come to steal your crown. With all the fury by my side, I’ll tear your kingdom down, I’ll tear your kingdom down.

Darkling, Darkling, Bluebird said, My crown you’ll never steal, when love and persistence are the altar where I kneel, the altar where I kneel.

Bluebird, Bluebird, Darkling said, you don’t know a thing. Hopelessness is everywhere, and cynical is king, cynical is king.

Darkling, Darkling, Bluebird said, I reject your wretched fear. My battered wings may fail me, but I’ll always be here, I’ll always be here.

Bluebird, Bluebird, Darkling said, my wicked ways are true. I’ll steal your gold and glory crown, and I’ll be the death of you, I’ll be the death of you.

Darkling, Darkling, Bluebird said, I’m not afraid of thee. I’ll fly beyond your shrouded cage to the jubilee, to the jubilee.”

“Hands off the Antarctic” by Thom Yorke // Hands off the Antarctic (Single) 2018

Thom Yorke has had an active couple of years and i couldn’t be happier to hear the output. In addition to the release of his double album score for the forthcoming film, Suspiria, Yorke has put together a brooding and haunting new track for Greenpeace’s climate change initiative. The video uses footage of the Antarctic as shot from the Greenpeace ship, Arctic Sunrise. The result is a breathtaking snapshot of a dire situation that needs everyone’s support or else, we’re soon fucked. I’m looking at you, the year 2030.

Good morning I got a worm in me ear

tears-of-an-artist:

Filipe Melo & Luiza Dedisin - Mozart: Sonata in D major, K 448 - Molto Allegro

I find it truly magical that something that someone thought of and wrote over 200 years ago, can survive all this time and travel all the way to reach me, here, today, just to be able to put a smile on my face and make my day better. This movement is so uplifting and playful and joyous, always makes me so happy and positive after listenning to it.

Also another dream of my life, is to have a fellow pianist friend, and play this sonata with that person ;__;

Re-discovered this piece and I still can’t believe how much light and joy this brings to my little heart

Aaah I still wish I had a pianist friend with whom I could play this, what a beautiful bond this would create between us ;_;

Vivaldi : La Follia

My latest addiction, I’ve listened to this probably 87 times in a row already  ;_;

The last movement of this piece is definitely the most metal, hardcore piece of music I’ve ever listened to, like it’s impossible not to headbang to this, it’s just so intense and passionate and fiery

How can some people say classical music is boring? I honestly don’t understand, I mean, they need to listen to this, because Vivaldi is so lit ;_;

Antonio Vivaldi - Concerto no.2 in E minor, RV 279  “La Stravaganza”

I’ve been so addicted lately to this concerto, especially to the first movement <3

F.Mendelssohn Bartholdy Symphony No.3 in A minor Scottish Op.56

Conducted by Leonard Bernstein

Have I ever mentioned how much I freaking love and adore and worship Felix Mendelssohn and how much of a genius he is

This man makes me feel things for which I don’t have words to describe, but I always feel like I’m going to have a cardiac explosion and that my heart is going to leap off my chest and reach the Heavens

that 4th movement, I’d be headbanging in the club if the DJ played this

tears-of-an-artist:

Lucia Popp - Ruhe Sanft, Mein Holdes Leben (Mozart, Zaide

omg this makes me feel a strange kind of sadness, the kind which is tempered with nostalgia for happy times that have passed and finally having to say goodbye to them. A kind of peaceful resignation.

To me, it evoques the image of someone in a harbour looking at a boat that just set sail, knowing that in it travels someone they love and that they shall not see each other ever again.

Bottom line: Mozart just being the divine machine that he is

I’m gonna use the hype around Prehistoric Planet to present to you one of the best dinosaur movies ever and it was released 20 years ago, two decades.

Honestly it’s such a fucking gem and idfc if it’s not scientifically accurate. I ate up this masterpiece whenever it was on disney channel.

Yes, I was a dinosaur kid.
