Threw a hoard of appeal buttons behind an old drawing of my demon-witchsona because I’m clicking appeal on all these freakin’ flagged posts.
I’m very disappointed in the policy change. Censorship is bullshit. Even though I hadn’t been active on Tumblr this past year or so because burnout and health issues, I really wanted to get back to it this year. But now…what the fuck. This is so discouraging. So many of my favorite artists have dispersed onto a variety of platforms. This feels so wrong.
Even if Tumblr backpedals on this, I’m not sure it could bring us all back together.
Blah.
Any advice on where to relocate is welcome. I might try to Twitter but ugh, it just feels weird and hard to navigate. I’d absolutely love something with gallery options, simple comment/reply functions, no censorship, and flexible tagging/filters so SFW and NSFW work can be managed without separate accounts. If Patreon and Deviantart could have a baby, I feel like it would be almost perfect. ;p

Super last minute pre-order sale!!
Virtually all my art is ready and waiting to be printed as a mousepad,pillowcase, or large print! :D
But I will have to stop taking orders at 6pm CDT July 14th so that I have time to get everything properly formatted and submitted before my printing service’s sale ends (at 11:59pm CDT).

Super last minute entry to Slug’s contest. I’ve been having a really challenging year and I haven’t been on tumblr much, but seeing this contest on my dash and remembering how Slugbox has always been a source of inspiration for me, and especially with the context of being an artist despite personal struggles…idk, I’m too burnt out to explain. But just sending some love and appreciation. Rock on. <3

Meant to post this sooner but between holiday chaos and a my third tangle with a cold/flu, it slipped my mind!
Happy belated solstice! I would say “stay warm” but where I live it’s unseasonably warm already, so I’m afraid to give global warming any more encouragement. o-o Make it snow!

I’m waiting for tech support with the mousepads. v-v’ Pillowcases - a few pre-ordered, more that I got in hopes of selling at next month’s cons - arrived though! Will unpack and photograph tomo- well, technically today? When the sunrises!
I have a plan to photograph ‘em using the big ol’ window upstairs to light them whilst they hang on the opposite side of the room. (Then put the pre-ordered pillowcases in boxes to await their companions for shipping! ‘w’)
Got a bunch of other stuff to photograph for my store and to show Patreon supporters the miscellaneous freebies they can pick for the thank you packages I’ve been itching to send out for the last, uh, 3 months? Longer? @___@ But I’ve been so low on spoons for so long and they’ve almost all gone to trying to manage/research my symptoms, cook/eat enough to not unintentionally lose weight again, do gentle exercises, and do the bare minimum (or less, really) house upkeep.
I have a tonnnn of specifics I could vent about with the health stuff but I’ll save that for another post.
Just an update on the pre-order status: Pillowcases are in but I’m waiting on mousepads! Had some technical issues with the production side of things. v-v
I ordered some more stock in addition to the pre-orders too, so I’ll work on listing those in my store if I can get some decent pics of them. It’s always less stressful selling at conventions because I don’t have to worry about photos not being accurate/nice enough. @-@
