It’s been a hot minute since I read Blue Beetle, but I do want crossovers with Robin, Batgirl, etc., for several reasons:
Brenda’s family issues fit in with a lot of the Gotham cast members.
Tim & Paco both operate on the principle of “I am a normal human and I am going to beat the SHIT out of you with this stick.”
I just think Jaime Reyes and Cassandra Cain would vibe.
I miss young justice so much, especially jaime reyes and dick grayson so this is apparently my way to cope until s3

ANOMALY EXTRAS
Both Jaime and Bart have lots of history behind their origins and superhero names– I made a few crash course pages to establish what kind of background I’m referencing since some characters /cough/BART/cough/ have WILDLY different backstories depending on the timeline.
A couple refs to Booster/Blue (the whole Injustice II interaction between them + Jaime is so heartbreaking…) and, of course, Bart’s attempted intervention when it comes to Flash family shenanigans…
All the pages are finished, so all I have to do is assemble everything before sending it off to print. Thanks for the continued support guys <33

ANOMALY,Part 2. AND EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER. The missing NSFW pages stand out more here than in RSVP, ugh. Writing? What is writing?!?
The wedding scene is from my previous Timkon comic, RSVP! Due to time travel shenanigans, lost!Bart returned only an hour after he disappeared… RSVP!Jaime might not know what’s going on but Bart’s obviously upset lol.
Next will be the NSFW pages, the cover and any extras I might think up… so tired from coloring these pages, might need to take a nap soon. Thank you for everyone keeping up with this comic so far!

ANOMALY, Part 1! Bluepulse, interdimensional shenanigans starring a confused beetle and a displaced speedster who just wants to get home… aka Bart gets his own comic after his BFFs hooked up in RSVP lol
I accidentally deleted my script for this so guess who rewrote everything from scratch based on my thumbs??? Uggh why am I such a mess. Here’s part 1 of three– the main story is in two parts and the nsfw is the third. Not sure how my schedule is looking for July so who knows when everything will get done OTL. Hopefully by Flamecon though! Fingers crossed!

ANOMALY, thumbs part 2– still sketches sorry, my procrastination from the last month finally caught up to me and I was really busy the last few weeks OTL.
These pages probably make no sense to anyone, but basically, the main Bart we follow comes from the RSVP!verse and he wants to get home… essentially this whole comic spins off of that one bluepulse doodle I put in the RSVP book ahahaaa
Hopefully I can get a few finished pages of this out soon… crossing my fingers!

Tentative title is ANOMALY. Yesterday, Bart Allen did not exist.
My June schedule is full but I still find excuses not to do actual work ahaha. I’ve thumbnailed this whole thing to be 14 pages long, which is longer than I’d expected. Too much talking! Why do all my characters talk so much! Spend more time kissing instead!!!
/ahem/ yah, like RSVP and Superkiddos this is pretty much a Frankenstein mash-up of whatever I want from DC. The bluepulse ship originates from the Young Justice cartoon but I also like Bart’s relationship with Tim and Conner as the original Young Justice comic trio… SO WHY NOT BOTH? aka nothing I write is canon, this is what fancomics and fanfic are for ;)
(also off-topic, but both Superkiddos and RSVP books arrived recently so they are now restocked in the shop. I’ll be shipping out all back-orders tomorrow!!)

so I finally watched episodes 1-18 of Young Justice (Outsiders) and I am here to comment and discuss some of my observations about the relationship of Blue Beetle and Impulse (I am not a die hard DC fan so I might be off).
firstly, apparently Jaime has a girlfriend. and what do we know of her? according to the young justice wiki, not much at all (other than the fact they’re dating). she seems nice.
very nice.
Meanwhile…
Bart is also hanging out with some boys (Static, Eduardo).
There’s a hug scene with Static that I can unfortunately only include in screenshots.
Despite all that, from what I’ve gathered it seems Jaime attends the funeral of OG Kid Flash’s wife with Bart.
I kinda wish they had made the Invincibros team more diverse. As it stands most of them are White and the one who could be read as a POC does not speak in the show. I feel like it would have been better if they choose John as the other Green Lantern rather than using Hal again or if they would have had Vibe, the Atom (Ryan) or Blue Beetle on the team.

Oh hey, Blue Beetle costume leaked! Points for both the main suit and the mask being a physical costume, was worried they were going to do the Marvel approach by adding it in afterwards via CGI.
