Another Inktober Jurassic drawing. I really like how the detail came out on this one, even if it took me forever to finish.

Also does anyone else remember how Triceratops was technically in JP3 for like 2 seconds? Totally got shafted but I guess that still counts.

I drew the new trilogy favorite Blue for Inktober. I’m so interested to see where she and the rest of the characters end up in the next movie. Like, that next movie could go anywhere and it’s enthralling/mildly scary.

I think it’s adorable that the Parasaurolophus is one of 4 dinos to be in every JP movie so far. Like the other 3 (T. rex, Raptor, Trike) all make sense since they’re so popular. But then the Para’s just there. Being all cute and shit.

I hope people are enjoying my Very Merry Jurassic Inktober.

The Spinosaurus is my favorite part of JP3 and as much hate as he gets I am in love with its design. Stan Winston Studios knocked it out of the park with his looks & color. Not to mention his cool growls/roars which I always want to describe as “brackish” (does that even work in that context?).

And my largely Jurassic Park-centric, non-prompt-following Inktober continues!

As much as the JP3 raptors kind of came out of nowhere and messed with the canon, they do look pretty sleek. Plus they had the neat colors and quills, which are not present here but should be restored in something I’m cooking up real soon…

I like the disgruntled look the JP Stego has with its angry brows and fat cheeks. It looks like some old, posh British man who is displeased at the antiquated insult that has been formally addressed to him.

I got a digital art tablet for Christmas and finally decided to try it out today. I’m not rich or smart enough to have Photoshop, so I did this in GIMP.

On a totally unrelated tangent, I am excited for Fallen Kingdom and am trying to go in without too many spoilers.

We’ll see how that goes.

Idea: What if the dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park/World movies are supposed to be horribly inaccurate so that fans and the general public learn about real dinosaurs and paleontology through the constant repetition and assertion of facts by enraged paleontologists?

The absolute audacity Netflix has advertising Jurassic World to me by showing me Zara’s death though….
