I am finishing the 1000 followers celebration earlier than I had hoped.
I haven’t had the time lately to write properly, and though I know you say you don’t mind, I can’t help but feel bad. Therefor, I am stopping my celebration and will resort to my earlier way of writing.
The requests in my inbox will still be written, but they can take much longer, to the point where you might forget you’ve sent it. I will simply treat it as an idea, and not a fic that needs to be written right away. I am sorry if you were truly looking forward to it; just know, I will be writing it eventually, but there is no more pressure to publish it right away.
There is also a lot of delay in my Starcrossed Losers fic because of this. I have decided to publish a new chapter every Sunday 19:30 CET starting tomorrow! The new chapter isn’t yet fully written, but I will try to publish it tomorrow as a gift.
if you grow mushrooms over a toxic waste site, chemical spill, or other polluted growing medium, they will suck up the toxins into their fruiting bodies with such effectiveness that they are being studied for their ability to clean up tainted industrial sites. it’s called mycoremediation.
if you do this with edible mushrooms, they are no longer technically edible, but on the other hand they make a great way to poison your enemies. this is called murder and it’s usually frowned upon, but they won’t see it coming and you get bragging rights afterwards about your ability to kill people with a pizza topping.
Sorry this was not precisely most people’s idea of “nice.” Let me add that you are a glow of comforting absurdity in an ever-more-fucked-up world.
I love everything about mycoremediation, but also
My sister studies fungi and let me tell you the shit she comes out with when someone asks her about work is mind-blowing
Sac-Con went well :) I talked with many people and brought home a big friend
Although Ampharos is one of those blessed plushies capable of sitting up without assistance, I am concerned about its silly heavy head sagging over time so it gets special ergonomic attention by being encouraged to relax with head support:
That’s the spot on the right of my seat, so it gets to see what I’m drawing, and it receives daily head pats :>

I’ve been working on these for awhile and I’m so excited that my babies hinata and kageyama are ready to be adopted!! :D Any reblogs to spread the word of their existence are appreciated!
Definitely check it out, it’s full of amazing Hawks content and the merch is *chef’s kiss*. All of the stretch goals have already been unlocked (wow!), which means Even More Merch for all of us!
I rarely, if ever, do posts like these, but felt like i’d say/write something, due to the increasing number of unsolicited messages from men on here. Apparently those guys feel ‘obliged’ to let me know how much they 'like’ (euphemistically referred) my posts, content and whatnot. Some were even asking for personal info like age, location etc. All in all, far from a decent behavior.
For those, who do not understand or play dumb, I’ll put it bluntly - I am not into men! And I don’t care about your liking and desires. So take my advise - do not bother writing messages repeatedly! It is irritating..
Аlso, anonymous (empty) blogs, won’t instantly 'spark my interest’ unless I know the person beforehand.
Alittle question for writers (or anyone who wants to share their opinion, really!)
I’m working on a character who has this really good friend she grew close to in boarding school, and even 20 odd years later they’re still close friends. (Despite living in different countries now.)
I originally planned for them to have unacknowledged feelings for each other. It would make sense in the way that they’re both women, and they would’ve met in the 1930s/‘40s – only for the story to take place in the '50s or '60s. Plenty of reason to suppress those feelings, or at least try to ignore them.
But I wonder: how likely would it be for 2 people to not act on/confess their (mildly noticeable) mutual attraction to each other over a span of so many years? They don’t see each other much more than twice a year after boarding school (though they do call a lot), so not a lot of opportunity to start something, but I’m still not sure it’s reasonable to write their relationship as it is.
