Sunspots!! They are planet-sized dark spots in the solar photosphere, aka the surface of the Sun. Found in active regions, sunspots look dark because they are slightly cooler than the rest of the surface. The temperature of sunspots is usually about 4,000 kelvins compared to the rest of the surface at 6,000 kelvins. These sunspots in the above image are in active region AR2835, which also happens to be the largest active region now crossing the Sun. The picture shows a field of view that spans about 150,000 kilometers or over ten Earth diameters. With powerful magnetic fields, solar active regions are often responsible for solar flares and coronal mass ejections, storms which affect space weather near Earth.

so my plan is like Kelvin is born with a mutation that makes his one eye blue and the other fire. he soon discovers he can manipulate fire like a fire dragon and he can see the future a lil like a water dragon. he was treated like an outcast and people told him he doesnt deserve having too many powers ( since hes a skydancer too he can feel people’s emotions and such through his antennae) and they saw him as cursed/he cant too have many powers like this blablabla. in the end, he covered his other eye (his blue eye, since it reminds him of his past) and fled. he practiced and trained all his magic though, but the downside is as most of his powers are sight related (his antennae makes him “see” the auras of people, diff colors diff moods), it took a toll on his eye (especially the blue one which is his left) so his vision deteriorated and now he wears glasses. because of constant unuse, his left eye became a lazy eye and now he has to keep the patch on permanently (unless he’s using the left eye’s powers) or the right eye will deteriorate too.

Grazie ad un #esperimento nato dalla collaborazione internazionale tra diversi enti di ricerca, per la prima volta si è riusciti a raggiungere una temperatura prossima allo #zero assoluto con un oggetto di rame del volume di 1 m^3.
