He got a little squashed by the tree, but he’s fine. - Maya and Pearl are also fine, their landing was cushioned by the fir branches. - If you’re wondering why they’re eating KFC… Japan has a culture of eating KFC for Christmas (because turkey was rare back then, and KFC decided to make use of the opportunity and say that “Westerners eat fried chicken at Christmas!!”). - That log cake is, of course, specially ordered by Edgeworth. - The badge cushion was made by Maya as a gift to Nick when he got reinstated as a lawyer. Or when he got disbarred. Maybe she thought ‘Since you can’t have your actual badge, take this as a replacement until you get it back!!“ - Klavier brought the champagne. - As a gentleman of culture, Edgeworth does indeed eat fried chicken with a knife and fork.
