Some life drawings from the other week. The model and lighting was super great for this session, got some interesting drawings with strong shadow shapes.

Here is my 20th piece since 2015 started. It is my 4th week in a row doing portrait painting from life. Sadly, there are no more long pose sessions in Montreal, so this may be my last in a while.

An unusual fan submission…

I mean sure… a paying gig is a paying gig… but not sure this embarrassed boy quite realized exactly what sortof gig he was being paid to model at…
