Louis has tolerated some serious shit from Lestat, but even the slightest criticism of his audio-book will result in an instant, no-questions-asked exile to the cold, lonely couch. Better luck next time, Lestat!
This is a small portion of a larger part of a page dedicated to the turning of Louis. It stuck out to me in particular because of their poses and their faces–Louis’ cute lil’ face feeding on Lestat’s wrist is so sweet, almost in a breastfeeding kind of way, but the phrasing of Lestat’s words and his facial expression give it a more sexual edge.
Just a little something to prove to y’all that I’m working on this project! This is (a portion) the script from which I will drafting my comic panels. More coming soon regarding “The Royal Wedding” in the future.
The journey of a thousand panels begins with a single page (or two) for “The Royal Wedding.” Work has officially begun on the Epilogue.
“The Epilogue?? Where’s the rest of the story?”
It’s not drawn yet! Because I’m a “eat dessert first” kind of a bitch, I’m drawing the “Wedding Night” epilogue and THEN starting at Chapter One and going from there.
“Why?”
Because I want to get down to the f-cking first. BECAUSE I CAN.
“Is reading this going to spoil story elements?”
Only a very minor one that you probably would’ve seen coming anyway. Trust me.
“Are you going to post this all on Tumblr?”
Yes, eventually, in installments, but most of this Epilogue will have to be uploaded to my DeviantArt behind an age-wall because of the graphic nature of the content. Certain body parts won’t be shown, but Lestat and Louis are going to be talking dirty about putting Tab A into Slot B and then doing it–stuff you can’t show on Tumblr.
Until that point comes, I’ll be putting the pages here on Tumblr. When I finally have to put the rest on DeviantArt, Iwill let you know.
(And YES, Lestat really wore a bridal hat circa 1979 to his wedding shower.)
Lestat has successfully resurrected Louis with his blood after his attempt at suicide left him burnt to ashes in his coffin. In the process, the powerful blood has eliminated much of the “human-ness” in Louis, making him more statuesque with extremely iridescent eyes.
And so, despite being rescued, a part of Louis has been forever lost. Lestat describes his changes later, but for the moment, he is just focused on the fact that Louis has survived.
