Okay okay but i really want to draw the Madrigal triplets at their birthday party sometime in their early 20s,
Pepa is talking to Agustin and catching how he glances and smiles at Julieta each time she circles around the dance floor. Bruno and Pepa are the best worst wingmen ever bc they know that Julie is lovesick for Agustin, so Bruno turns to Pepa and is like okay we need to come up with a plan but Pepa is already rushing in to hip bump Agustin into the dance floor towards Julieta (like mother like daughter). He goes flat onto his face instead and knocks over a chair on his way down.
Julieta and Pepa pull Bruno onto the dance floor bc he’s self conscious at first but eventually they’re just laughing and dancing with each other and things are simple again. Pepa and Bruno do the conga while snarking height jokes at each other. Townspeople comment on how much Bruno looks like his papá while Bruno is like oh haha :) this is fine.
Oh and after the party ends, the triplets hang out in Pepa’s room and find a cloud to drink and talk on, just airing out the complicated mess that is bieng born on the same day your dad sacrificed himself. Meanwhile Alma is sat on the stairwell looking up at the portrait of Pedro, silently trying to hold back tears.
