I’ve always wanted to draw one of those #MeetTheArtist memes but I never had enough free time to crank one out

Anyway here’s an alternate Jotaro hat!Viri, plus some closeups! Fan fact: I drew this entire thing with one brush, just in different sizes

Didn’t want to work on my resume so i did that instead :) Also got my Vlambase merch and the sweatshirt is so soft, i love it ♥

Im also realiszing now that i don’t have pink Converses anymore but eh, who cares ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Had my first day off on Saturday, after 2 weeks of working 12-15 hrs a day. IT FELT GOOD. (the day off haha)

I’m so exhausted but at the same time I’m learning so so much while working on these projects. Pushing my boundaries like never before probably. And most of the time I am so far past my comfort zone I can’t even see it on the horizon lol but I can literally feel the improvement day by day and that’s like the best feeling ever. It gets me so excited that I just wanna draw more and ‘try’ my new skills or something. I don’t think I’ve ever even felt that but there you go. Everyday something new haha

Okay enough rambling, gotta get back to work.

Art Vs Artist 2020✨

Last post of the year and finishing it with the #artvsartist trend! It’s been a bad and crazy year. A year we all will remember and most of us in a bad way. My chronic pain got worse, my engagement is dying and I’m not growing anymore here so I’m very unsure about my future as an artist, I’m scared of catching the virus and getting the long term sequelae added to my chronic pain… And I can consider myself lucky because even if I had a bad year, at least I hadn’t any personal great loss. If you have lost someone to this pandemic, or to any other accident/illness/disaster, I’m really sorry, and I know those words won’t ease your grief. The only thing that I can tell you is that it’s okay to take your time to grief, it’s okay to cry, it’s okay to feel bad. You will have to eventually get up again and keep up with your life, but if you need a pause and you can afford it, take it. And wish for you the best About the post, these are some of my favourite pieces of this year, and I hope I can keep making more the next one! Because I’m not sure about my next step as an artist, I plan when I finish all my commissions to take a break from them and think deeply about my art and where to lead it. I need to make of it a stable income if I want to keep surviving as an independent illustrator, because if my chronic pain doesn’t get better, working on my own with my own schedule at home is my only option of making a living. If you want to help my art grow, becoming a patron is always a great way, I’m planning a lot of new extra content only for my patrons for this next year. Checking out my store or dropping a Ko-fi are great ways to support my work too. All the links in my bio! I know not everyone can afford art, I myself rarely can afford it, so I feel you if you want but can’t. November 2021 marks one year since I rebooted this account with a new, more consistent aesthetic and drawing style.

It’s also been a year of drawing every day, practicing for hours, and learning more than I did my whole life. I’m proud to see an evolution in my art, and I wanted to celebrate my 100th public post with a new, refreshed meet the artist!
