Cultivate Me

I have no problem speaking my heart’s affection, in fact, its harder for me to keep the feelings suppressed.

But there are days like today that I wish I were the one hearing how you feel or how much I mean to you.

Sometimes I just need my heart and soul fed the way only you can nourish them. The more you feed my soul, the less starved for answers I’d be to feed the uncertainties that come about or my worries.

You may think it goes without saying, but I promise, a little reassurance would make a difference, would make my whole day without you physically, seem a little more gratifying and the pain I feel while I wait to kiss you again, a little more worthwhile.

Sometimes I just want to be reminded of how important I am to the one that means the world to me.

I could never lose you without losing a part of myself. Like two metal pieces melted and welded into one another by an electric arc, we’re bound to eachother heart and soul, forming a harmonious and most beautiful whole.
