in all i liked 602, but they tilted the scales too far to the lex side, and kara got ripped off. i mean she was trapped in the phantom zone for years as a kid and now she’s back, she is reliving the reign nightmare on a loop, and she found out her was-supposed-to-be-dead father is ALIVE? we missed out on a great humanizing moment for supergirl, also though i’m not really sure how to word that.
also i’m a bit mad that alex told kelly about kara’s identity off-screen but i didn’t even notice until i read that here.
now we wait for lena to come save the day.
oh and for Christ’s sake, can they just get rid of lex already?
I was on Twitter and I saw a tweet about Supergirl by a comic book fan
“We already have 2 lesbians and a trans character in the show”
Writers, producers, The CW, comic book nerds, whoever the fuck is trying to minimize the LGBTQ+ people, just stop. We exist. “But none of the people around me/in my family are gay” No, we’re here, we are just hiding.
And we actually don’t want to hide, but we are scared. And watching people on TV, who aren’t scared, who aren’t hiding… you can’t even imagine the feeling. It means more than you think to us.
“Statistics” say 1 out of 10 people are gay.If we only count gay people who are out, sure, that may becorrect.But the truth is, there are more LGBTQ+ around you. You just don’t realize us because you don’t care.
I’ve been through a hell of a ride with you. I’ve been happy, I’ve been sad, I’ve been peaceful, I’ve been mad. Nothing will ever replace everything I felt, nothing will ever replace the spot you hold in my heart. They have been times where we grew apart, cause I couldn’t bear the way you changed.
