Hi guys.
Today I’m going to talk to you as a fan, not as a blog owner.

The last couple of days have been intense and exhausting. I’m into k-pop for at least 7 years and I’m used to visit sites like Netizen Buzz and All Kpop, but this is the first time a scandal this big happens with an idol I like some much. As someone said on Twitter today, it’s toxic how people are reacting to the dating news. It is toxic. And I’m feeling more and more intoxicated every time I read comments about it.
I’ll be honest with you, I always had a feeling about Hyojong. When I first saw him I said “I don’t like him”. At the time I thought maybe I didn’t liked him cause he was replacing Ilhoon in Hyuna’s 2015 comeback and as a rapper he was lacking so much. Then came Pentagon Maker and I didn’t liked his attitude in some situations. I said to my friend “I really don’t like him. He’ll be the first to cause problems for Pentagon.” I’m sad to see I was right from the start, especially because the “big problem”, “big scandal” is: he’s in love. He’s happy. He’s being like any other young man, living his life with his girlfriend and doing what he loves.
I’m feeling intoxicated cause I’m open-minded and I never saw a tiny little problem with famous people dating each other. It’s all I see in my country, in any other western country and it’s more than ok to me. But while reading comments from Pentagon’s koreans fans I began to understand why they’re feeling sad and “betrayed”. I don’t judge, it’s a cultural situation. Korean agencies “sell” their artists like the perfect boyfriends/girlfriends that will always be there for their fans like there’s no other person in their lives but the fans, so they feel they’re entitled to demand anything and everything. And as I began to understand them, I began to think like them and it’s totally against my own judgement. It’s not right to bash someone only because he/she isn’t acting like a robot programmed to do what the society expects.
I’m not generalizing nor am I saying that Pentagon fans are bad people. It’s something that every fandom does in Korea. I repeat, it’s something cultural and we, international fans, won’t be able to change what happens there. We can only hope that Cube’s measures helps both Hyuna and E'Dawn so they can continue to do what they do best: to bring joy to our lives.

Do you know why I made this blog?
E'Dawn is not my favorite member from Pentagon, but I learned to like him from the moment I saw how playful, funny, cute (among other things) and happy he is with Hyuna and Hui. And how happy they are with him around.
Hyuna introduced me to k-pop and was always my favorite idol, for everything she did and does to change the k-pop scenario, even though I disagree with some of her choices (attitude wise). I can tell you, I have never seen her so happy and it almost brings tears to my eyes. Somehow, seems like she finally found herself and that’s beautiful.
Their friendship is beautiful. Everyone is mocking Hui for “third wheeling”, but he brings balance to both Hyuna and Hyojong. I don’t understand why people don’t see it. And he, too, is so happy whenever he’s with them.
That’s why I wanted to have this blog, to share with everyone this feeling that warms my heart and your too, I’m sure.

And, about Cube, try not to judge so harshly what they’re doing. It’s a sensitive matter, one Cube never had to deal with. I’m sure (well, I hope so) they choose to keep E'Dawn out of Pentagon’s activities to preserve him from more severe backlash. Although I still think that he needed to talk directly to his fans on Pentagon’s fancafe when his interview with Hyuna came out. After all, they decided to go against their agency and assume their relationship.

Lastly, I want to ask you to keep being supportive and don’t let the negativity hit you. I know I won’t, so I won’t be reading or posting (neither answering) anything related to what’s happening until Cube decides to give a proper solution to this matter (unless it’s an official notice).

I had to share it. She/he is right. Idols are humans too. They are like us. They want to share their love to someone that they love. Not as a fan. Someone who is close to that idol in person. They are getting older and close to the 30s and I bet they feel lonely and desperate. It may look like they are happy and feel loved, but still… there is something missing inside them. I hope that the Korean fans would understand that. Hyuna went through a lot and I’m a fan of her since 4minutes. I’ve never ever seen her so happy and so in love! I feel so glad for her to find someone who accept her as the person she is and doesn’t care about the rumours, scandals, ECT. E'dawn has also have no rights to get mocked for being in love with her and being her boyfriend. And to make it clearer for u. Super junior’s Heechul feel desperate and lonely. On variety shows he said that he also wants someone in his life. And he is close to his 40s. So get over it and let them live.

NU’EST W Drops Prologue Clip, Signals Start of New Era

• After the announcement of their imminent comeback, Pledis finally released the first video teaser. Titled ‘Prologue Clip’, the eerie looking teaser has a young queen looking through the glass of an ornate piece. The clip has sparked heated discussions within the fandom for it’s seeming similar vibes to Overcome and Where You At.

NU’EST W New Album to Have 2 Versions - WHO & YOU

• Much like the previous release W.HERE, NU'EST W’s new release contains 2 versions, with 4 different CD, Photocard and Selfie Photocard per version. The biggest difference lies in the poster, where there are 8 A2 posters to be given out at random. The albums are available for pre-order since 12 June, from major music sites like Synnara, Hottracks, Yes2 and Gmarket.

NU’EST W ‘WHO YOU’ Tracklist Revealed, Baekho Participated in Composition and Lyrics of Title ‘Dejavu’ 

• Following suit, the tracklist of the new album has been release. With a total of 6 tracks including title ‘Dejavu’, it was revealed that Baekho and JR were largely at the helm of participation in lyrics and composition. Familiar names such as Royal Dive, Bumzu and PRISMFILTER crew was also spotted, and fans are excited to see how the new collaborations with these musicians would work out.
  
• It was also revealed that NU’EST W will be trying out Latin Pop genre for the first time in their title tracks, further raising anticipation.

NU’EST W Confirms Attendance on Weekly Idol

• The first group variety appearance has been confirmed! NU’EST W will be recording for Weekly Idol soon as Weekly Idol has put out a notice inviting fans to call in and send their special requests. No word on when the recording nor broadcast takes place, but NNL will keep you posted!
  

L.O.V.Es Rejoice, NU’EST to Broadcast Showcase Live on V-App

• More good news, as NU'EST W will be having a showcase for their comeback album on the 25th at 8PM KST, in Olympic Hall in Olympic Park. Fans who preordered the albums respectively on the different platforms will have a chance to win a showcase ticket. A Total of 1500 tickets would be given out this way.
• Unable to make it? No worries! The showcase would be live on NAVER V-live, so you can also catch it in the comforts of your own home.
• Another 50 tickets are also given out via MOB facebook page, 

NU’EST W Surprises With Mysterious Photo Teasers

• After the reveal of the tracklist, NU’EST W released the mysterious teaser images for WHO. Fans quickly catch on to reveal that the rooms are eerily alike the rooms the boys were in Where You At, raising much interest in the fandom as to how the storyline would continue.
  
• The reveal was followed by the posting of Official Photos 1andOfficial Photos 2. It was not mentioned whether they are WHO & YOU concepts respectively, and thus assumed to be both under the ‘WHO’ album design. 
• In Official Photos 1, the boys were decked out in Dior suits, showing a mature, luxurious image. On the other hand, Official Photos 2 put out a charismatic, wild allure with the muted colors.

More Special Promotions With WHO Box Tour

• Pledis is running a special promotional campaign ’WHO Box Tour’ featuring a secret treasure map for fans. Decoding the coordinates will yield you Digital Media City, Hapjeong, Korea University and Olympic Stadium locations, each with a special NU'EST W memory. Fans are predicting that the special promotion would be akin to label mate Pristin V’s giveaway, were staffers dressed as villians to hand out flyer-posters.
  

NU'EST W to Grace Covers of Singles Magazine

• That’s right, this summer in Seoul, NU’EST W will grace the covers of Singles Magazine July 2018. Seems like the full promotions is kicking in and L.O.V.Es can keep a close lookout for more activities coming very soon!

Finally, the long awaited announcement is here! Earlier tonight, the four members of NU’EST W (consisting of JR, Aron, BaekhoandRen) took to the fancafe to post individual hand-written messages to announce their comeback date as they wish to “let L.O.V.Es know first-hand”. Set to release on the 25th, all four members expressed their personal thoughts, and thanked L.O.V.Esfor waiting for them during this period.

LeaderJR wrote, “Wanting to relay the news to L.O.V.Es first more so than anyone, it’s a shame (that news broke out first). Regardless, with the heart to share this news, the members wrote these letters.“ He then went on to thank fans for waiting for the long period and stated that they will work hard to repay this love, and "thank you for always being beside us, I love you.”

Aron’sexcitement could also be seen in his letter, as he went on to state that while it seemed like a long time to prepare the album, a lot of thoughts and hardwork went into the comeback, promising to show a cool side to make up for lost time. “Let’s meet soon!”

Baekho’s touching letter starts off by saying that this album is like a gift. With the thought of presenting this album as a present, the album was completed, promising that he will work his best to make this the “best gift”, and to “make this a period filled with only happiness”.

Last but not least, Ren’s"toL.O.V.Eswho have waited for a long while, thank you so much, and thank you again” showed his warmth and gratitude to fans. Excited to meet fans again,Reneven said he had a hard time sleeping, and told the fans to hold on just a while longer!

InNU’EST’s trademark ‘fan-pabo’ mannerism, the boys posted their L.O.V.Eletters with the cryptic message, where the 1st syllable of each word spells the name of the fandom.

While the full schedule has yet to be released, it seemed like the next two weeks will be busy with possible teasers. Are you ready?

Just earlier today, it has been announced that NU’EST W will be featured on @Star1 magazine for the upcoming March Issue. The four boys will be on the cover, and have a total of 12 pages in the issue, inclusive of a photoshoot and an interview under the title ‘NU’EST W.ITH YOU’.

So far, not much details have been released by the magazine, but it is already available for pre-order on portals like AladinandGmarket Global for international fans. The magazine retails for 3,700 won.

In related news, NU'EST W is slated to attend Gaon Chart Awards on the 14th; their 1st concert in Seoul ‘Double You’ will also start presales this evening at 8PM KST.

The long-awaited, NU’EST W’s first concert in Seoul ‘DOUBLE YOU’ ticketing will finally kickoff tomorrow for official Fanclub members. This marks NU’EST W’s first concert as a quartet in Seoul, as well as a first concert as a whole for the band in their homeland as well. 

The tickets will go on sale on 13 Feb for L.O.V.Es 2nd Generation members, while general ticket sale will be made available on 19 Feb. For international fans, the purchase of concert tickets will be done via Interpark Global webpage, where English is available, so there are no worries on how to purchase the tickets.

Due to limited tickets for both rounds, fans are expected to clock in early for a good chance of snagging the tickets. Please do take note that high traffic is expected, and having some patience waiting for transactions or pages to go through would be better alternative to mass refreshing. Check your internet connection and get your credit card details ready, folks!

*Tickets purchased on the global page will be collected at the venue on the day. Present ID and booking details at the ticket counter for collection.
