#off grid
10/30/21 ~ Long time, no post! Haven’t done much gardening, just cleaning up! I left this one Cayenne plant to let them dry on the plant though! It’s about time to start making my seasoning mixes with all my dehydrated plants! ☺️

Quail Springs is an environmental educational nonprofit, and a leading policy advocate to change earthen building codes. They are engaged with local building officials in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties in California, and have been performing seismic and fire testing at their fully off-grid permaculture site in the Los Padres National Forest. They are forming a coalition of building officials, architects, academic researchers, builders, engineers, and activists to change building codes locally, nationally, and internationally. If you’d like to support their efforts, an anon donor is matching donations right now.

Arnaud
In Zutut'Ha, Mexico
Arnaud lives in the off-grid community Zutut'Ha in Mexico which he and a group of friends founded about three years ago. The family of his mother is French so he likes to speak French with visitors from France who come to the community. He studied Biology and is his part in the community is gardening which he totally loves. There are no houses for the community members so far, so he and his girlfriend live in a tent.
